As Asher Klein was pondering if he should pounce on Nanako Kawashima, someone suddenly knocked on the door.
“Come in.”
Asher held himself back before quickly composing himself.
A steward of the Klein family quickly came inside before whispering into his ear.
“What?!
“Eve Clubhouse was burned down?!
“And Romina’s nowhere to be found?!”
Asher quickly lost all color on his face.
Romina Klein was in charge of the Klein family’s underground businesses.
Not only did she have a huge amount of evidence of the family’s crimes, but she also had a group of powerful and loyal sacrificial soldiers.
More importantly, she was the one who knew what happened to Harvey York from start to finish.
One of the biggest reasons that Asher went into hiding was Harvey.
Since one of the crucial people involved with him disappeared, this was no less than terrifying.

The steward lowered his head. He would not even dare look Asher directly in the eye.

Romina’s situation definitely involved Harvey. If that were not the case, the Klein family would not have made Asher take responsibility this quickly.

Asher glared at Nanako before chuckling coldly.

Nanako was showing a burning gaze before she kneeled to the ground with a smile.
Asher froze before waving his hand, signaling the steward to leave.
