“S…Sir York! Hello!”
The door was pushed open. Dutch tidied up his uniform, and went inside.
Even a prominent figure like him felt extremely nervous the moment he stepped into the room. He felt as if he was about to witness his god.
As soon as he laid eyes on Harvey’s gaze, he instantly knew. The Head Coach had hidden his identity in coming here.
Dutch, in his excitement, almost uttered that name. He stooped right in front of Harvey, not knowing whether he should stand or sit.
Harvey raised his head, and glanced at Dutch. “Let’s talk.”
“You hear that?! Everybody out!” Dutch yelled.
He instantly chased everyone out of the room, then locked the door and pulled the plug of all surveillance cameras inside.
“It’s my fault my subordinates are like this! I’m sorry you’re suffering because of this…” he said, after saluting respectfully.
“Don’t worry about it.”
Harvey smiled.
“Power means everything here. There are all sorts of different forces in the outskirts as well.
“You’re not the prince of the Cobb family, anyway. You managed to reach to such heights in just three years after your retirement, too.
“I can understand your subordinates not being taught well enough.
Harvey’s words were calm; he had no intention of blaming Dutch. Despite that, Dutch’s face was dripping with sweat.
“You used three years to turn the Sword Camp into a legend!
I’m honestly embarrassed about all this…”
“The Sword Camp is completely different from society, after all. It’s impossible to have everyone you want on your side.
“Still, you should put a few of your trusted people in crucial positions. You’d get a lot more information that way. It’ll make it easier for you to detect any wrongful convictions.
“The person who did this to me has a powerful background . Even the Cobb family might not be able to deal with this.
“But remember, your family’s not the only one supporting you.
“You belong to the Sword Camp as well. Even if you can’t contact me for something you can’t handle… Ethan will come with his people to help.”
Dutch was completely moved.
“I’m already ashamed I couldn’t uphold your teachings and protect this place… I wouldn’t dare ask for something else,” he said.
“Just listen to me and stop spouting nonsense already. Or are you saying that after you retired, my words don’t mean anything to you anymore?” Harvey said.
Dutch’s body shivered, and he saluted again.
“I’ll remember that, Head Coach.”
Harvey thought about the situation for a moment before changing the subject.
“I heard from Ethan that you’ve been at the Aenar Temple, and that I wouldn’t be able to contact you for a few more days,” he said.
“A month ago, I received a warrant to do security work there. Since it was a special mission, I couldn’t bring my phone with me,” Dutch said.
“Security work for the Aenar Temple?” Harvey was curious. “Did they dig up something nice?”
