Safe to say, the young director of the police station was a rare sight to behold.
Because of his achievements, the Mammoth Tribe even chose him as a candidate to succeed his family. His resume, background, and power were simply extraordinary.
Dutch, who usually gave others a warm feeling, stepped out of the car with a darkened face.
“Director Dutch !” Rae and the others said while saluting him.
Asher, Harlan, Judith, and their families instinctively stepped forward as well. “Director Dutch!”
“It’s been a while, Director Dutch. Last time…” Asher said, smiling.
“Enough!”
Dutch had no intention of wasting his time on these people. He quickly went to the middle of the main hall, and glanced around him coldly.
“Who’s in charge today?!”
Rae’s heart skipped a beat; a bad feeling came to her.
“I’m in charge for today, Director Dutch,” she said after stepping forward.
“Right!”
Dutch glared coldly at her.
“You caught a man named Harvey York? Where is he now? Take me there right now! If he loses even a strand of his hair, I’ll have every single one of your heads!”
A fierce aura could be felt from Dutch, when he was usually quite gentle with his subordinates. Everyone there couldn’t help but shiver after sensing his rage.
‘What?! Harvey York? He came for Harvey?’
Billie and her family stared at Rae, trying to understand what happened.
Asher’s face darkened; a thought came to his mind…
Judith, on the other hand, was ecstatic. ‘Is Harvey saved?’
Rae instinctively shivered. She suddenly remembered the call Harvey made just now.
‘He didn’t actually call Director Dutch, did he…?’
Cold sweat dripped down her back after realizing that.
The two inspectors looked at each other; they wanted to say something, but they simply couldn’t. They didn’t think that Harvey would actually call their boss here…
Dutch instantly knew what happened after seeing the look on Rae’s face.
“What did you do?” he demanded, his expression dark. “Talk!”
Rae was on the verge of tears.
“It’s nothing…” she said hesitantly. “All we did was turn up the air conditioning…”

“You bastards!” Dutch slapped Rae in the face without hesitation. “I’ll kill your entire family if he gets a cold!”
Rae stumbled back, a horrible look on her face.
Asher and the others were dumbfounded when they saw this.
