Harvey shrugged.
“Taking down the video would be good for you. After all, you wouldn’t have to deal with any public pressure. But how would I benefit from that?”
Rae smiled.
“Without public pressure, we can ensure you’ll be treated fairly. If not, we’ll simply have to prove that you’re the culprit -no matter what.”
Harvey chuckled. “You’re threatening me? You’d slander me like this? Where’s your shame?”

Another inspector slammed his hand on the table.
“Watch your mouth! This isn’t a threat!
“Let me tell you something! We have all the proof we need!
“You’ve been locked up here for a while. We managed to gather all the witnesses and evidence to prove you guilty.
“You better not refute anything. If not, you’ll only end up worse!”
“The video shows how Inspector Freddie tried to get my
fingerprints to frame me for something I didn’t do. Do you really think that anyone would believe you people after seeing that?” Harvey countered.
“It doesn’t matter if they don’t! As long as the law’s on our side, it’s fine.
“I’ll be frank, Harvey. The people who reported you are all prominent figures of the outskirts. Their reputation isn’t something that you can compare with.
“Even if the situation goes viral… You’d still be a dead man! What’s the point?”
“Are you sure about that? Just because of those people? Who gave you the courage to say that?” Harvey asked.
The two inspectors choked; they didn’t think that Harvey would still remain so dominant.
Rae’s face darkened.
“You’re a heinous man, Harvey! If it wasn’t for Billie and her family, I wouldn’t even give you the chance in the first place! You’ll regret it if you don’t cherish this chance!”
Naturally, Rae was done playing good cop.
Harvey smiled faintly.
“You want me to delete the video? Why would I do that? That’s proof of my innocence.
“I don’t think you can deal with my problem, nor can you prove my innocence. If that’s the case, then there’s nothing else for us to talk about. I want your boss to have a chat with me.
“My boss?”
Rae chuckled coldly.
“Who do you think you are?! You want to talk with my boss? Your best bet out of here is to hand over the…”
Rae instantly stopped herself; she realized she had spoken too much.
Harvey smiled at Rae; it seemed she had already reported the incident to Stefan. Stefan must’ve found out that the broken bead wasn’t the one he was looking for.
‘No wonder these people are starting to get a little cocky again…’ Harvey thought.
