“He’s still family to us, Whitley…” he said.
“Are you insane?” Whitley chuckled coldly. “He said he doesn’t want anything to do with Billie anymore. If that’s the case, I hope he rots in the building for the rest of his life!”
Not just Harlan, even Billie frowned after hearing those words.
“I don’t like Harvey, but there’s no need to talk like that either, Mom,” she said.
“That’s right! He’s a kind man who can fight well. He has a good relationship with the Surrey family’s fifth lady, too,” Judith said. “Someone like him shouldn’t be locked up!”
Whitley scoffed, and sized up Judith.

“Harvey provoked Stefan himself! That bastard doesn’t know what he got himself into, but the Surrey family’s different.
“Look here! Do you think he can get out of here without spending three to five years in jail? If that’s the case, I’ll eat up the floorboards here!”
