Chapter 5640
In the outskirts, martial arts reigned supreme.
Not only was the Budokan in the university built extremely simple and elegant, but it also occupied quite a lot of space as well.
Mixed martial arts weren’t the only things taught here.
Traditional martial arts of Country H, Country J’s Taekwondo, Karate of the Island Nations, and many more were involved too.
Naturally, the university was an opportunity for immense growth, as long as the person’s willing.
After entering the Budokan, Harvey casually looked at the introduction on the wall.
Judging from the poster, the head coach of the university was a prominent figure. He was said to have practiced hidden martial arts, and reigned champion in the country’s mixed martial arts tournament. He had the surname of Duncan.
Harvey was reminded of a person. The mixed martial arts champion back in Mordu, Garry Duncan. [Ch. 1936]
That said, that man disappeared out of thin air after getting completely trampled on.
What a coincidence that would be!
Harvey looked at the poster for a while without saying anything, then went to the area that his class was assigned to.
A strong-looking coach started to lecture the class. He sounded a little slow as he talked about the course.
Naturally, he still couldn’t grasp the concept of speed being essential to martial arts as a whole. When he demonstrated a few moves, they seemed quite pre-determined and sluggish as well.
Harvey didn’t mind it at all; he listened curiously to everything the coach had to say. He figured he could review everything he learned now that he was here.
“Roger! Show everyone what it means to have the essence of mixed martial arts,” the coach said when he was done lecturing.
A man, about five-foot-nine with a handsome face and an elegant aura, appeared. Out of the entire class, there were a few who were quite outstanding.
Harvey remembered the name; Roger was quite well-known in class. A lot of women had been pursuing him. Even Lorel looked up to him.
Harvey figured that Roger must’ve been from the Mammoth Branch; he was probably siblings with Baylee, too.
People like him surely practiced actual martial arts instead of playing pretend.
As expected, the strength Roger showed was no less than extraordinary. Every single movement he executed was simple and direct; they were a lot more impressive compared to the coach.
“As expected of Young Master Roger!”
“He’s probably the strongest one of the class—no, the entire university!”
“That’s right! He’s no ordinary man! He belongs to the Mammoth Branch, after all!
“We should find someone like him to get married with in the future!”
A lot of people cheered after seeing Roger’s moves. Even Lorel, the prettiest woman in class, was filled with admiration.
Teo had no right to show off in front of a man like that. When Roger was done demonstrating his moves, Teo quickly handed a towel over to Roger.
Nobody knew if Roger was preserving his image, or he simply didn’t want to reciprocate the affection of the women. He took Teo’s towel, and wiped his face before nodding at Teo.
