“You’ve got guts, kid!”
Teo chuckled coldly, grinning coldly.
“Let me tell you something! It’s my first time seeing someone this arrogant here. Hopefully you can still do the same when your legs get snapped in half!”
Harvey shook his head, and walked out of the classroom. He couldn’t be bothered to even give a reply. If it wasn’t for the fact that he needed to put up a front, he wouldn’t have been wasting his time here anyway.
The other students of the class were showing odd looks when they saw Harvey being so nonchalant.
Teo was a well-known bully before even attending university. It’s said that nobody dared to go against him. After entering Oaklands University, he was willing to become Lorel’s lackey after falling in love with her at first sight.
Since Harvey offended Lorel, Teo wouldn’t just let this go that easily.
“What’s a man from a big city showing off in the outskirts?”
“He’ll know what it means to suffer when Teo deals with him!”
“He doesn’t know that power means everything in a place like this!”
“We’ll have a big show coming up later!”
A lot of students were chuckling in glee.
A man from a big city like Harvey would naturally garner all the hate here. With his disinterest of playing along with the others, he seemed like a high and mighty man who was out of touch.
It was only natural for others to think of him as ignorant. Since that was the case, everyone would cheer when someone volunteered to take care of him.
Afternoon soon passed.
Someone was standing in front of Harvey before class ended. It was none other than Teo.
“Hey, Harvey! We have extracurricular classes today. It’s going to be mixed martial arts. Surely you’ll go, right?”
“No. What does it have to do with you?” Harvey said, without even raising his head.
“Hmm? You’re not going?”
Teo seemed a little gloomy.
“Are you people from big cities just pansies? You wouldn’t even dare go to classes like these? Were you bullied too hard when you attended something like this in the past?
“Just let me know if that’s the case! I can protect you if you become my lackey!”
Teo reached out to tap on Harvey’s shoulder. However, Harvey glared at him before he could.
For some reason, Teo instantly froze as soon as he saw Harvey’s eyes. The entire room felt instantly colder. He couldn’t even move his hand.
At this moment, Lorel came forward and sized up Harvey.
“You don’t have to participate…but without a collective sense of honor, I can definitely suggest the university to expel you. You can’t blame me when that happens!”
“I’ll be expelled?”
Harvey showed a profound look on his face as he looked at the two.
“Do I have to join the class? That’s what it means to have a sense of honor?”
“That’s right!” Lorel showed a prideful glare. “Are you going or not? Answer me right now!”
Harvey rubbed his forehead, before letting out a sigh.
“Fine. I’ll go…”
Teo and Lorel smiled coldly after hearing those words.
