Harvey York’s Rise to Power Chapter 5638

Chapter 5638

Harvey rolled his eyes; he needed to be discreet. Everyone would know about his arrival if Kali reported the incident to headquarters.

“You’re too kind, Ms. Kali,” Harvey smiled.

“Every person has responsibility. This is the philosophy of a martial artist. Since America’s involved with the outskirts’ trouble, I have obligation to take responsibility.

“That said, things won’t end here. You should interrogate him. See if you can find out more.

“However, I wouldn’t want anyone else to know that I was here.”

Harvey then calmly left with his arms crossed.

Ernie and Bryar were shocked.

‘This is the look of a true expert! He didn’t ask for a reward, nor was he prideful about it…’

Kali froze as she looked at Harvey’s back; she seemed a little sluggish.

The next day.

Harvey went to university as usual. He seemed completely invisible, even though he had already come for two days. Nobody bothered to talk to him, either.

Billie, Judith, Aliza, and the others weren’t there, either.

Harvey was quite happy about being free, since he wasn’t here to study anyway.

During lunch break, a beautiful yet prideful woman with long hair came in front of Harvey. She was the class monitor.

Harvey casually glanced at the student tag on her chest, that had “Lorel Bree” written on it.

“You’re Harvey, right?”

Lorel sized up Harvey.

“The class is eating lunch together. You’re coming with us. Remember to bring your money to pay for everything. You understand?” she demanded.

“Not interested. Go on your own,” Harvey replied, without even raising his head.

“You’re not going?”

Lorel thought she had heard wrong.

Not only was she the class monitor, but she was also the prettiest woman in the class. Nobody would even think of disobeying her.

A lot of men would even use everything in their power just to get closer to her.

She decided to give Harvey a chance to blend in with the class by making him pay for their lunch…

And yet, he refused.

‘What a joke!’

“You think I’m here to negotiate? You have no choice but to go!” she said pridefully.

Harvey chuckled. “So you’re just forcing me to do it now?”

“This is reality,” Lorel said after chuckling coldly. “You don’t have to go, but don’t regret it if you don’t.”

“I’m not going, then. Stop disturbing me. I’m busy.”

Harvey picked up his textbook, before eagerly reading it again.

The textbook had a lot of information about the three great temples. He naturally wouldn’t want to miss out on something this big.

Lorel was panting in anger at the sight in front of her.

“You’re Harvey, right? How dare you refuse the class monitor’s invitation? You’re just asking for trouble at this point!”

A burly man came from the back, glaring judgmentally at Harvey. His name was Teo Fairman, and he was quite close to Lorel.

Teo was filled with rage. He glared at Harvey, who was disrespecting Lorel.

“Sorry, but that’s the complete opposite of what I want.” Harvey smiled.

“I have no time to play games with you people. So please stop bothering me.”

Harvey put his textbook down, getting ready to leave the noisy place.
