Chapter 5600
Harvey York seemed strange to the others. Everyone was keeping an eye on him at all times.
They were all enraged that he was trying to drag the goddess out of the place before they could even drink.
Winston Osborne glared at Harvey before coldly chuckling.
“What’s even the point of pretending now, Harvey?
“You’re already taking away the goddess after sipping your damn water?
“Who do you think you are?
“What? Are you lonely sitting in a corner?
“Should we get you some ladies to drink with?”
“Don’t, Prince Winston!” someone exclaimed.
“That’s a kept man from the big city!
“He couldn’t be bothered with the ladies here in the outskirts!
“Hahaha!”
Everyone burst out in laughter, treating Harvey like a country bumpkin.
Harvey put his soda down before speaking.
“Winston, right?
“I couldn’t be bothered to deal with you…
“And yet you’re here thinking you’re all that?”
“Oh? I wouldn’t dare!
Winston showed a playful expression.
“You come here leeching off of us and pretending to be some hot shot?! I wouldn’t even dare!
“No matter the case, you still have an arranged marriage with Billie!
“You’re destined to be the Higgs family’s live-in son-in-law!
“Us ordinary people would be too scared to stand up to you!
“We won’t even get anything out of it!”
Everyone cackled, thinking that Harvey was utterly embarrassed.
“Enough!”
Billie Higgs could not stand the sight any longer.
Harvey’s humiliation had nothing to do with her… But she had to come forward when her family was mentioned.
“It wouldn’t hurt shutting up for a moment !” she exclaimed after glaring at Harvey.
“No matter the case, I called him here.
“You’re crossing the line for treating him that way, Prince Winston.”
Billie was not trying to stand for Harvey…
But she was afraid that he would harm Winston. She could not report the situation to Harlan Higgs then.
“Of course! We have to respect the goddess’ wishes!”
Winston laughed.
“After all, There’s all the time in the world to play with Sir York here!
“What’s the rush?”
Winston sized up Harvey, thinking if he should break his arms or legs first.
Harvey showed a calm expression. If Winston were actually ignorant, he would not mind teaching him a lesson or two.
At this point, there was no use reconciling.
He felt a little helpless after seeing Billie insist on staying. He had no choice but to take a breather outside of the room.
When he came to the corridor before the restroom, he frowned.
One of Winston’s friends, Lando Miller, came out of the restroom when he drunkenly flirted with a woman who seemed uneasy.
Before he could finish his words, he was instantly slapped in the face.
In a fit of rage, he kicked the woman to the ground.
The woman did not make a fuss when she stood back up.
“You’ll regret this!”
“Me? Regret? Stop pretending already!”
Lando was disdainful.
“My name is Lando Miller! I’m in the premium VIP room!
“I’ll be there all damn night!
“Come at me if you dare!”
Lando turned around before walking away, frustrated that he could not hook up with someone else.
Harvey could not be bothered at first, but the woman quickly walked into the supreme VIP room with a furious look soon after.
The supreme VIP room was much more expensive than the premium one. The woman’s status was also probably quite extraordinary.
Trouble was coming.
Harvey quickly returned to the VIP room before grabbing Billie’s hand, ignoring her surprised look.
“We’re leaving.” Then, he looked at Judith. “You too.”
