Chapter 5592
Lennon shook after hearing Harvey’s words.
“You can tell?! This is my biggest secret. Nobody in the family knows!”
Lennon was truly shocked.
To prevent his family from worrying-to prevent the word from spreading… He only told them that he kept coughing because of a lung disease.
Only he knew that wasn’t the case at all.
Aria was surprised to hear that as well.
“Even big hospitals in Wolsing couldn’t treat my grandfather. They say it’s difficult… And now, you’re saying that it’s not that big of a problem?”
Aria seemed hopeful.
“Is there a way for you to treat my grandfather?”
Aria would definitely not believe Harvey if he didn’t show his prowess… After seeing such a spectacular performance, she naturally trusted him.
Without Lennon’s help, the entire Surrey family would be in utter chaos, especially with all the trouble surrounding them.
This was why Aria, a mere university student, practiced the Eight Extremes. She wanted to relieve her grandfather of his worries. If she had a way to deal with his problems, she wouldn’t have to work this hard.
Aria gritted her teeth, and looked at Harvey with a determined expression.
“To be frank with you, the Surreys belong to one of the four great tribes, the Luster Tribe.
“We have some authority when it comes to the outskirts. If you can deal with my grandfather’s problem, the Surrey family and the Luster Tribe will do anything in return!”
Aria flushed when she said those words. She realized what she was getting herself into. She’d be in deep trouble if Harvey was a pervert who only wanted to get his hands on her.
Thankfully, it was good that Harvey didn’t care about such things.
“It’s not hard to deal with Mr. Lennon’s problem,” he said after a moment of silence.
“However, I do need to make preparations. Give me some time. I’ll deal with it tomorrow at your place. How does that sound?”
In reality, Harvey would be able to deal with the problem instantly.
Still, he understood how humans behaved. If he did everything too quickly, Lennon would take it for granted and might start harboring ulterior motives.
On one hand, he wouldn’t attract any suspicion towards his identity… On the other hand, he was setting an expectation for the Surreys.
Aria’s cold face instantly dissipated after hearing Harvey’s words.
“Of course! We’ll be waiting for you!” she said.
Lennon smiled as well.
“We’ll make sure to greet you with a good meal three days later. You can leave it to us to arrange everything else,” he said.
Lennon’s words carried a different meaning. If Harvey could deal with his problem, it wouldn’t be hard for him to repay any favor.
Even if Harvey wanted to become the leader of the outskirts’ York family, he’d make it happen.
A shame that Harvey had no intention of doing such a thing.
