“You big city folk always look down on us, right? Did you do so poorly there that you have to get our help here?”
Harvey froze, and then remembered the documents Kairi sent.
The person he was impersonating had the exact same name as him. The name Kairi managed to find for him was quite a common name in Country H.
The Harvey she found in Golden Sands was an orphan who died alone.
That Harvey had a good relationship with a senior who lived in the outskirts. The senior was named Harlan Higgs, an owner of a small business who made a good living.
Harvey showed up to get Harlan’s help.

Harvey ignored Cillian. He turned around and left.
Cillian froze for a moment, then quickly stood in front of Harvey.
“I’m telling you to follow me! You understand me?!”
Harlan had instructed Cillian to fetch Harvey. If Cillian didn’t do as Harlan said, he’d be reprimanded. That was why he was panicking.
“You want me to follow you?” Harvey glanced calmly at Cillian. “Beg me for it, then.”
