Capri John’s face darkened.

“You have no other choice since you’re in position!
“If you’re going to keep arguing with me like this, I suggest you resign immediately!”
Capri’s words were meant for Kairi Patel despite them being directed toward Harvey York.
“You must be dreaming if you want me to resign.
“Let’s talk about the search instead.”
Harvey seemed calm.
“You can tear down the car if you want…
“If you manage to find anything, then we’ll gladly accept the punishment!
“But, if you can’t, I’ll break your arm!
Then, Harvey made a gesture after taking a step back.

Capri’s expression changed before she instinctively looked behind Harvey.
Harvey glanced over before seeing a few people in a tower with a familiar face standing in front.
As expected, Blaine John was colluding with the Islanders!
After seeing Blaine crossing his arms while watching the sight, Capri knew she had no choice.
“Leave no stone unturned!” she exclaimed while waving her hand.
A lot of attention had gathered around the place.
Under everyone’s gaze, a dozen inspectors came up before scouring the entire car, almost entirely tearing it down.
It was safe to say that it was embarrassing for a second-in-command to be targeted like this.
Soon after, an inspector excitedly brought the wooden box to Capri.

Capri gave Harvey a cold chuckle.
“You’re finished.”
She felt the weight of the box was a little off.
She instinctively opened the wooden box before swirling the bottle inside.
Her expression instantly worsened.
“It’s empty?!

“Where did you put the poison?!

“The bottle is a relic picked from the Patel family’s storeroom.

“How ridiculous can you get?

Kairi glared coldly.
“You disobeyed your superiors and blamed us for something we didn’t do!
“People like you aren’t allowed to be in positions of power!
“You’ll have to be dismissed! From now on, your deputy, Maeve Patel, will take over the Golden Sands Police Station’s affairs!
“If we find out that you’re innocent…
