Chapter 5462
Clang, clang, clang!
Yuri’s attacks grew more ruthless and sporadic after he got the upper hand, fiercely pushing Elias back.
After every swing, Elias would leave heavy footprints on the ground, as if that was the only way to dissipate the heavy pressure attacking him.
Yet, he remained stable despite looking like he was at a disadvantage. No ordinary attack would be able to break his defenses that easily.
After some time passed, Yuri started to get annoyed. He quickly jumped back, revealing a copper cylinder in his hand. He twisted it while aiming right in Elias’s direction.
Boom!
A flurry of shuriken flew right at Elias at the speed of light.
Elias’s face darkened instantly. “How shameless can a grandmaster like you get?!”
He spun his sword around like a windmill, deflecting a huge amount of shurikens and redirecting them to the ground. Even so, a few still managed to lodge themselves right into him.
The shurikens were doused in poison.
“You use poison?!” Cameron couldn’t help but exclaim. “You’re despicable!”
“Aren’t people like him always like that? They’d use everything in their power to achieve their goals,” Harvey said calmly while sipping his tea.
“I should’ve prepared Elias with some firearms to deal with this…” Kairi said coldly.
“Winner takes all! You people don’t understand!” Yuri chuckled coldly, ignoring the insults from Harvey and the rest.
He raised his hands; darts flew out of his sleeve right at Elias’s face.
Clang!
Elias swung his sword upward, deflecting the darts but also revealing his weak spot.
Yuri quickly rolled on the ground, and kicked Elias right in the stomach. Blood gushed out of Elias’s mouth; he stumbled back, his face as pale as paper.
“I’m sorry, but you’re finished.”
Yuri revealed a crossbow in his hand. He aimed it at Elias with a grin on his face.
Elias’s mouth started to twitch; he wanted to dodge the attack, but the poison in his body was starting to delay his actions.
Cameron, who had been watching the entire thing, looked awful.
“Elias is going to die! Why did he challenge Yuri in the first place? He did this to himself!”
To Cameron, Yuri was only second to his father, Keegan. Naturally, Elias was no match against Yuri.
‘What a joke!’ Cameron thought.
“You’re talented in a lot of things, Elias, but you’re too much of a gentleman. Fighting is all about the outcome. Not the process. Come, let me teach you,” Harvey said at this very moment.
