Blaine John showed an invigorating smile after seeing Harvey York’s expression change.
He wiped the corner of his mouth with some tissue before speaking.
“Judging from the look on your face, I’d say that crushing someone’s spirits is a lot more effective sometimes.

“I should learn from you more.”
Harvey squinted.
“Aren’t you scared of me slapping you in the face for saying this?”
“Slap me?
Blaine let out a chuckle.
“Do you even dare?
“If you do, you’d have to stay here for a few more days.
“After all, it’s a huge crime to hit someone in a place like this!
“Your title as the representative of the country’s Martial Arts Alliance won’t save you here.”
Then, Blaine leaned in toward Harvey with a smirk.
“Come on! Hit me!
“I’m right here! Do you dare?!
“If not, as long as you kneel before me…
“I’ll consider telling Capri to release you. How does that sound?”
Blaine beamed confidently.
Naturally, he believed that Harvey would not dare do anything rash.
Capri John was showing a disdainful glare while standing behind Blaine.
‘This bastard’s been showing off the entire time, but I’m sure he wouldn’t lay a finger on Young Master John at this point!
‘What choice does he have other than to kneel?’
Capri was watching the sight excitedly.

Harvey casually threw his teacup to the ground before he stood. Then, he swung the back of his palm right across Blaine’s face.

She did not expect Harvey to do something like this, even as a prisoner.

Capri returned to her senses soon after before pressing on the firearm on her waist.
“How dare you?!” she exclaimed while glaring at Harvey.
Blaine snapped back when he covered his face, staring with an odd expression.
He was an experienced man. He took a deep breath and squinted at Harvey after a long while.

“With that, I’m afraid you won’t be able to handle the consequences of your recklessness.
“I’ll examine the injury at the hospital later.
“If I’m even mildly hurt, you’d be jailed for six months!
“Everything will be finished the moment you get out!”
Blaine was just about to leave.
A man who could not hold his feelings back for the greater good was nothing for him to look up to.
Capri showed a playful expression when looking at Harvey. He was just a mere suspect…
But the slap alone was enough to turn him into an actual criminal.
Even without Rohan’s evidence, Harvey was done for.

Harvey seemed calm.
Then, he stepped in front of Blaine before patting him on the face.
“You told me to do it to you.
“Everyone can see and hear it here.
“I’m only fulfilling your request. What’s wrong with that?”
