Harvey York’s Rise to Power Chapter 5368

Chapter 5368

Harvey York chuckled.

“They probably just have good relations.”

Saul Robbins looked bitter.

“Of course, I know that!

“But look at that bastard!

“He has ulterior motives!

“I don’t say anything about this to Lola, but this seems extremely fishy!

“That’s why I need your help!”

Harvey froze. The topic segued a little too quickly.

“I’ll do anything to help. We’re family anyway,” replied Harvey after nodding.

Saul smiled faintly.

“That’s good to know.

“If anything happens to me…

“Take care of Lola and the child inside her.

“That’s our only heir after all!”

Then, Harvey frowned.

“Who would even go up against the Robbins family?”

Saul let out a chuckle.

“It’s not that. Just the situation looks that way.

“Golden Sands is a little too peaceful right now.

“That said, the calm before the storm is usually the most terrifying part.

“Nobody knows what’ll happen next…

“But I believe you.

“No one would dare go against you no matter what.”

Saul must have had something in his mind, but Harvey did not bother mentioning it.

After all, the same was true for the rest of the Hermit Families.

Harvey did not want to pry if Saul was refraining from saying it.

The two happily chatted until eleven o’clock before Harvey left.

As soon as he walked out of the block, he instinctively glanced at Saul and Lola Hoffman’s bedroom.

The place was as dark as night. It was clear that the owners had not moved back yet.

It was challenging to deal with family affairs, but Harvey was still worried about the situation.

In his eyes, Saul and Lola were already family.

Vroom!

A few Lincoln limousines were parked in front of the entrance.

Lola stepped out of the car with a slightly redder face and a hint of alcohol coming off her body.

Rohan Hoffman, on the other hand, was not back.

“Evening, Lola,” greeted Harvey after seeing Lola drink despite being pregnant.

“You’re pretty late. Saul’ll get worried about you.”

Lola, lightly swaying around, frowned before taking a closer look. She chuckled when she saw Harvey’s face.

“He wouldn’t dare say it straight to my face, so he asked you to come instead?

“I don’t even think that’s necessary.

“I’m only having a meal with my family.

“It’s fine if he doesn’t want to go, but it seems pretty rude to be up in my business now, isn’t it?”

Harvey frowned.

“I don’t know what happened between you two, Lola.

“I shouldn’t be saying anything.

“But it’s better for you not to drink since you’re having a baby.

“It’ll affect you and your child.”

Lola froze before smiling faintly.

“Thank you, Sir York.

“Our affair is none of your business.”

“Rohan’s your…”

Harvey instinctively paused when something came to mind.
