Harvey York wanted Kairi Patel to get as much information as possible so she would not panic later.
Kairi chuckled bitterly after getting the texts.
She knew Harvey’s action had made the Golden Sands’ situation as clear as day…
But the enemies would also move a lot quicker because of him.

Harvey smiled back after seeing the look on Kairi’s face. After reviewing the situation momentarily, he decided to head to the Robbins family’s residence instead of heading inside.

Harvey arrived at the manor entrance.
Before pressing the doorbell, he could see a few more discreet-looking Lincoln limousines parked around.
The cars were extremely low-profile, with windows at least seven layers thick. Even bullets would not be able to penetrate them.

Harvey glanced at the license plates before his pupils shrunk.
They were from Holcomb.
“The Hoffman family’s here?
“They’re a little quick…”
Harvey frowned, wondering if Kalel Hoffman already arrived.
‘He’s already complaining to Lola?’
Right as Harvey was about to discover what was happening, a dozen people walked out of the manor.
Lola Hoffman was in front, showing a gentle smile on her face.
The person beside her was a five-foot-nine handsome young man in a suit.
Saul Robbins was behind them, looking slightly bitter.
The group of people were happily chatting with each other when they got to the cars.
The suited man smilingly pulled the door open.
“Please, Lola.”
Lola smiled before looking at Saul.
“I’ll come back after having dinner with Rohan.
“It’s just a family gathering. Don’t overthink it.”
Saul forced a smile with a face that was completely twisted.
“Come back soon then…”
Lola waved at Saul before getting inside the car.
Rohan Hoffman smiled at Saul before following suit.
Soon after, the car drove off.
Lola oddly gazed when she saw Harvey standing at the side.
Rohan also instinctively looked at Harvey.
Saul heaved a miserable sigh when the car was gone.
“You shouldn’t sigh, Saul.
“You’ll blow all the luck away if you do.”
Harvey tapped on Saul’s shoulder.
“If my guess is correct, he must be Lola’s brother, right?
“What? You’re jealous of your own in-law?”
Saul looked at Harvey before heaving another sigh.
“That’s not him.
“He’s the adopted son of the Hoffman family, Rohan Hoffman.
“My wife’s first lover…”
“What the hell?!”
