Right as Harvey was about to take action again, Alani finally spoke up coldly.

Harvey tilted his head, and smiled at Alani.
“Are you threatening me?
“With what? Your sheer willpower?”
Alani chuckled coldly.
“Of course not.
“Don’t forget where you are right now! If you keep acting this recklessly, Heaven’s Gate will get involved!”
“Heaven’s Gate can’t even defend its own people. Do you expect it to mediate for you people?” Harvey retorted.
“Who said Heaven’s Gate can’t defend its own people?”
A dignified voice was suddenly heard. Zaid slowly walked out, smiling.
“Zaid!”
“Mr. Zaid!”
Alani and Shinsuke froze, but then looked excited.
They planned to work with both the Lowe family and the Bowie family at first. Both families said that Layton would surely stand with them as well.
However, Alani had her doubts.
Yet, at such a crucial moment, Layton’s best disciple, Zaid, actually showed up.
