Harvey York’s Rise to Power Chapter 5098

Chapter 5098

Chapter 5098

“Since those two branches have been running their business abroad…

“Out of the five major branches, those two are essentially working together. I heard that they came back in high spirits, determined to take the throne away from the main branch.

“There’ll be conflict once we bump into them.”

Harvey stopped in his tracks, and looked at Kairi beside him.

“The princes of the overseas branch and the Gangnam branch are here?”

Kairi nodded.

“That’s right. Out of the five princes, they’re not the hardest to deal with, but they’re no easy targets either. They’ll be sure to show you just how powerful they are, too.

“Make sure you’re prepared.”

Harvey kept walking, smiling.

“That’s not the point though, is it? You want me to break their spirits first. That way, nobody can make things harder for you during the banquet.

“Are you that confident in me?”

Kairi smiled, not intending of hiding her goal.

“I wouldn’t bring you here as my partner if I wasn’t confident in you now, would I?

“Just act natural when you see those two. After all, I know you wouldn’t trample on someone for no reason.”

“Since you asked me here, you probably know that there’s big trouble coming soon, right?”

“Guess I can’t hide anything from you, after all…”

Kairi’s eyes were rather gloomy. It was a shame that a man like Harvey was only here to act as her live- in husband!

“Ms. Patel!”

A beautiful woman in business attire greeted Kairi respectfully after seeing her and Harvey walk inside.

“Prince Alfred and Prince Rudy are already in the main hall.

“They’re furious with you.

“They broke a lot of things, saying that you were late, even though you were the one who invited them.”

Harvey calmly glanced at Kairi without saying a word. Kairi shrugged.

“Family matters are always a little complex.

“I hoped for them to support my rise to power, hence why I invited them in the first place.

“Of course, they’re probably going to ignore me anyway…”

Harvey scoffed. “What if they actually do support you?”

Kairi smiled. “They’ll be my dearest brothers, of course.”

Harvey sighed before heading inside; he couldn’t be bothered to continue the conversation.

This place was almost two thousand square feet wide. The walls were decorated with extravagant landscape paintings, without any unnecessary decorations lying around.

A massive couch made of flower pear wood was placed in the middle of the hall, accentuating the rustic feel.

However, the ground was filled with smashes plates and cups.

Two young men could be seen in the guests’ seat.

One of them had short hair; he was calmly sipping his tea, emotionless. The other had blonde hair, and was filled with unbridled rage. He was probably the one who smashed everything.
