The Patel family bodyguards instinctively pulled out their firearms.
A dozen people in uniforms swarmed out as soon as the car doors opened. The person leading the group was a handsome man.

Carver ignored everyone else, and strode toward Harvey and Kairi with his subordinates.
“Who are you people?” Kairi frowned, glaring at them. “Do you know what this place is?”
Her bodyguards instantly raised their firearms, their expressions fierce.
Harvey narrowed his eyes and looked curiously at Carver’s smug arrival. This man was playing both sides, after all.
“Carver Ruiz of Golden Cell.”
Carver smiled gently as he revealed his license to kill.
“My position isn’t that high-I’m only the second-in-command.”
Kairi narrowed her eyes after hearing about Carver’s position. Before she could react, Carver spoke up.
“Harvey York, you’re suspected to have escaped Golden Cell. You need to be punished for your crime.
“Someone also accused you of killing Master Aung of the Jean family’s ancient lineage.
“You’re also suspected to have orchestrated the murder of Young Master Nameless of the Faceless Group.
“Golden Cell has been looking into every single one of these cases!
“We’d like you to cooperate with our investigation.
“Besides, I know that you have a good relationship with the Patel family and the Hermit Families!
“Well, you won’t be able to use any of those connections against Golden Cell!
“Whoever resists will be killed on sight!
“We have been authorized special permission by law.
“You should cooperate, Sir York!”
Carver remained calm as he showed his license to kill. For him, nobody could go against Golden Cell’s authority.
If Harvey didn’t see this himself, he wouldn’t have believed it.
The person who let him go…and the person trying to detain him Were the exact same.
Apparently, Carver was trying to crush Harvey’s spirit.

Carver smiled, tilting his head.

“Now, you’re no different from an escaped convict!
