Kanae laughed coldly, then charged right at Mandy. Naturally, he was planning to grab another hostage.

Kanae’s expression turned awful. The moment he stepped back, three more bodyguards fell to the ground, paralyzed, as soon as he waved his hand again.
The bodyguards pounced ahead when they saw the sight; the whole place fell into utter chaos.
After all, both Elodie and Reuben were already dead. If the bodyguards didn’t take down Kanae, they’d have to join the two.
More than thirty bodyguards charged forward; these people had at least a bit of fighting experience and possessed impressive strength.
Kanae laughed coldly, then he released his aura. Other than his knife, his entire body became his weapons as well.
He threw attack by attack as he moved forward.

Harvey, who had retreated to the back, covered Mandy and Xynthia’s eyes so they wouldn’t see such a bloody scene.

“Is it Blaine? He told you to come, no?”
Kanae showed a bewildered expression after hearing Blaine’s name.
“You have no right to get Young Master John to go against you! You’re not worthy!” he exclaimed, scoffing at Harvey.
“If it’s not Blaine, then it’s definitely Darby.
“He’s doing this for his underground casino, right?
“If that’s the case, you killed the right people.”
Harvey shrugged; Darby’s circumstances had a lot to do with the head of the Jean family, after all. Since Reuben was now dead, from a certain perspective, Kanae managed to take revenge for Darby.
“Enough nonsense, Harvey!” Kanae snarled, laughing menacingly. “I’ll have to send you your way now!”
He raised his knife, looking like a vengeful demon.
“I’m sorry, but you have no right to do that. You’re not worthy, after all!”
Harvey took a step forward, then calmly swung his palm forward.
