Aung didn’t think he’d be crippled by a single slap.
Everyone else looked bewildered.
They could clearly tell that Aung was already planning to kill Harvey…
Yet, what happened?
Harvey sent him flying again with a simple slap. Judging from Aung’s state, he wouldn’t be able to stand again.
‘Is he crippled?
‘Is Aung too weak?! Or is Harvey just too strong?!’
Everyone lift Aung, and left the place soon after.
Judging from Harvey’s methods, he would’ve snapped Aung’s arms before leaving him. However, he refrained from doing that since he didn’t want Mandy and Xynthia to see that.
“You’re a lot better than before, Harvey!”
While the family was still in shock, Xynthia snapped to her senses. She couldn’t resist jumping right into Harvey’s arms, smiling warmly.
Harvey’s chest felt warm; he wanted to push Xynthia away, but he couldn’t do that at all.
Mandy’s heart stung when she saw this. She quickly stepped forward to break the two apart.
“Alright, knock it off! You’re an adult! Why are you still clinging onto Harvey like a child?”
Xynthia giggled. “Harvey’s awesome! He deserves a reward, after all!”
Mandy’s face was frosty. “Just let go already! You’re a huge star now! If you don’t, we’ll see how you explain this when the paparazzi find out!”
Xynthia reluctantly let go after hearing those words.
Lilian looked at them, confused, then forced herself to smile.
“What a great son-in-law! You saved us tonight! If it wasn’t for you, the entire family would’ve been dead by now!” she said.
Harvey glanced calmly at her. “Don’t mention it. Mandy will be fine with me here. I’ll head back now.”
Harvey was planning to work on some things. After all, Reuben wouldn’t just give up after suffering such a huge setback.
“Sigh! My dear son-in-law!
“What are you saying?!
“Ostrane One is your property!
“You can’t just leave like this!
“That isn’t how you should be treating your guests!”
Lilian held Harvey’s arm with a fawning expression.
“You should stay for the night! Mandy’s here, too! I’ll get you a room beside Mandy’s!
“You two can just chat, or watch TV!
“But remember! No messing around!”
Simon and the others froze after hearing Lilian’s words; they had no idea what was happening.
But soon, they all realized something…
Lilian was afraid of Reuben taking revenge. It was why she was dead set on making Harvey stay.
As long as Harvey was here, he’d be able to go against Reuben. Even if he couldn’t, a lot of problems would be solved if she surrendered him to Reuben.
Harvey immediately understood what Lilian was thinking, but he didn’t say anything about it. “Sure. I’ll stay for the night, then.”
“Alright! Simon, get our dear son-in-law a room,” Lilian said quickly.
“No need. I can get a mattress for him in my room,” Mandy replied decisively.
“No! He can’t sleep on a mattress after working this hard!” Xynthia exclaimed. “You should sleep in my room, Harvey! I’ll just sleep on the couch.”
