Harvey York immediately swung the back of his palm across Elodie’s face after stepping forward.

The directors and shareholders froze before pulling out their phones.
The security guards also instinctively stopped in their tracks.

“The Foster family only approves Mandy, CEO Zimmer!”
Simply put, everyone could tell the contract was legit after checking.
One of the directors instinctively projected his phone screen onto the TV.
Everyone was shocked when they saw the contents.
The rage on Elodie’s face dissipated.
She showed a sluggish expression when looking at the screen. She did not want to believe the sight in front of her at all.
“Thank goodness! The company’s saved!”

“We’ll be able to live off our dividends for the next decade!”

“Only Mandy can take charge of the ninth branch after all!”
Everyone cheered, completely forgetting what they just did. Clack!
The door was pushed open once again before a dozen inspectors in uniforms came in.
“Which of you here is Elodie Jean?” the inspector leading the group asked with a warrant.
Everyone looked over.
The inspector scouted Elodie before his eyes lit up after seeing the Beads of Eyes hanging on her neck.
“She’s the robber! Take her away!”
Elodie stood frozen.
“What do you mean by that?!
“Do you even know who I am?!
“Do you know what’ll happen if you take me away?!”
The inspector cuffed Elodie before taking off the Beads of Eyes without hesitation.
“This is stolen!
“Last night, an anonymous person reported his Beads of Eyes were stolen along with his Audi A8!
“Since the proof is all here, we’ll have to bring you in!”
Then, another inspector pulled out the key to the Audi A8 soon after.
Elodie froze before she furiously glared at Mandy.
“You tricked me?!”
