Nobody thought Harvey would be this disrespectful toward Elodie.

A few expert Corpse Walkers cracked their necks as they stepped forward. They were a lot more powerful than the previous Corpse Walkers. They felt confident enough to take out Harvey.
“Hold on, Young Master Cedric. No matter the case, he’s still the Jean family’s live-in son-in-law! Give me a chance, I’ll convince him!” Elodie said, as soon as the experts stepped out.
In reality, she wanted to trample on Harvey even more.
Cedric nodded with a faint smile, and watched with curiosity.
Elodie took a step forward with a righteous expression.
“I know you’ve already given up on yourself, Harvey!
“You’re challenging Young Master Cedric just to show off your worth!
“You’re desperately trying to get Mandy to stay with you!
“But you need to know that no matter how impressive you actually are, you have no right to go against Young Master Cedric!
“It’ll be terrible if he actually gets angry!
“You’ll be in deep trouble!
“Not just the Patel family and the Hermit Families, but even the Jean family wouldn’t be able to protect you if we’re willing to stand up for you!” Elodie said smugly.
“I know you’ve never had good intentions to begin with, but I’ll give Cedric a chance since you spoke up. It’s not too late to kneel right now,” Harvey said.
“How dare you, Harvey?!” Elodie screamed, enraged.
“Do you think I’d be talking to you right now if you didn’t make me?
“A peasant like you will never understand what the Corpse Walkers mean!”

Frantic footsteps could be heard; Darwin, Prince, and the citizens of Golden Sands’ branch showed up, looking horrible. Hundreds of people appeared behind Harvey, and glared fiercely at the Corpse Walkers.
This was the Golden Sands’ branch territory. Yet, if both slides clashed, no one could anticipate the outcome.
Elodie froze, then clicked her tongue.
“No wonder you’re so stubborn and unreasonable! You have Golden Sands to back you up!
“Don’t forget! No matter how powerful they are, they have nothing to do with you, since they’re not even yours to command!
“Without them, you’re wrong if you think you can really still show off!
“You’re dead wrong! These people are nothing to Young Master Cedric!”
“I really don’t need them to show off, even if I want to,”
Harvey replied. “Since you’re related to Mandy, Elodie, you should get out of here. But if you keep yapping, I’ll take you out too!”
Harvey then glared at Cedric before asking coldly, “Well? Are you kneeling or not? You won’t get another chance after this.”
