Chapter 4880
Chapter 4880
“People like you are bound to be busy. You won’t have time to kneel outside of the Fortune Hall anyway.
“In that case, let’s just get down to business.
“Break your hand and leg.
“I’ll let you go after that.”
Harvey York calmly smiled without giving any room for negotiations.
Mandy Zimmer wanted to say something, but she only sighed in the end.
“Do you think you can scare me off with tricks like that, Harvey?!
“Do you really think I can’t do anything to you?!”
Vaughn Thompson glared at Harvey.
“I only let you off the hook since we’re all playing within the rules! I was only respecting the Braff family!
“Do you think you can still stand here if that wasn’t the case?!
“If I didn’t care about any of that, you would’ve been dead by now! Do you hear me?!”
From the information Vaughn gathered, Harvey single- handedly took out all of Nameless’ experts.
But in his eyes, a man like Harvey was still no match against a firearm.
There was no way he could be faster than a bullet.
Firearms were just more efficient!
It did not matter the range either!
This was no joke!
Vaughn did not believe that Harvey would dare lay a single finger on him.
“I don’t believe you, so I’m giving you a chance.
Harvey pointed at his forehead.
“Come. Try me.
“If you kill me here, then so be it.
“But if not, then you’ll have to suffer instead!”
“Do you want to die or something, you bastard?!”
Vaughn roared in anger when he pulled the trigger in the direction of Harvey’s forehead.
Mandy instinctively covered her mouth. She was just about to scream, but no voice could come out.
Amora Foster froze. She wanted to stop Vaughn from killing anyone, but she was just too late.
If Harvey were to get killed, Vaughn would only be removed from his position at most.
After hiding for a year or two, he would still be in a high position in a different place.
That said, nobody would remember a nobody like Harvey after his death.
Everyone was showing pity when they looked at Harvey.
Only Soren Braff remained calm. He knew just how impressive Harvey was. He clearly had his reasons for doing something like this.
Clack!
The firing pin was making an odd noise in the blink of an eye, making everyone freeze in place.
Harvey had a scalpel stuck right on the pin without anyone knowing.
The pin was this close to hitting the back of the bullet, but it never did.
Clack! Clack! Clack!
Vaughn kept pulling the trigger but to no avail.
In his eyes, his all-powerful firearm was utterly broken.
“So, you can’t kill me off after all…
Harvey stepped forward before kicking Vaughn to the ground.
“Since that’s the case, I’ll come for you instead.”
Crack!
