Chapter 4849
Chapter 4849
Crack!
Harvey stepped on Nameless’s other leg, snapping it in half as well.
Nameless lay paralyzed on the ground, filled with pain and misery. He held his body, trying to save what little remained of his pride.
Harvey casually picked up a long sword lying on the ground, and held the tip of the blade on Nameless’s throat.
“I know you think you’re impressive, Nameless.
“You wouldn’t mind playing with me, either.
“That said, let me tell you something…
“Under normal circumstances, I’d play with you slower-I’d break your bones one by one, and I’ll turn you into a complete cripple.
“It’s a shame I have no patience when it comes to my wife.
“I’ll ask you one more time: where is she?
“Even if you don’t tell me, I’ll find her anyway after you die.”
After hearing such words and seeing Harvey’s murderous gaze, together with the long sword, Nameless couldn’t help but shiver despite his arrogance.
No matter how impressive he was, his strongest trump card was the fact that Harvey wouldn’t dare kill him.
And yet, he was filled with nothing but fear when Harvey looked dead serious when he said those words.
“What? You won’t take the humiliation?” Harvey said, looking into Nameless’s eyes.
“Judging from this, you’re no better than your father.
“He kept trying over and over again-three years after three years, and he failed each time…
“And you decided to force yourself in a corner just because of your temper.
“You’re completely inferior!”
Nameless’s eyes twitched; he started to hesitate.
“You think your father will take revenge for you when you die, but if I’m not mistaken, you must have other siblings as well…
“You’re just an obstacle to them. When you die, not only will they save their strength, but they might just erase you from history, too.
“Your death will have no value whatsoever. What a shame…”
Harvey slowly pressed the long deeper into Nameless’s throat. The sharp tip pierced right through his skin, and the pain gave him clarity.
His pride and dignity mattered a lot… But they meant nothing if he died. Everything he worked so hard for would be for naught.
He wouldn’t be satisfied with that!
“I’ll do it!” he exclaimed, gritting his teeth. “I’ll let her go right now!”
Harvey slowly pulled the long sword back. Nameless revealed a confused look, then pulled his phone out.
“Do you have orders for me, Young Master Nameless?”
“Get Mandy back here now, Sakura! Hurry!” Nameless screamed.
Harvey frowned. He thought the name sounded familiar.
“Sakura, right? I’m Harvey York. I’m warning you, Nameless will be in a very bad spot if anything happens to Mandy.
“Do you understand me?”
