Harvey York’s Rise to Power Chapter 4802

Chapter 4802

Chapter 4802

After a moment, priests in uniform entered. A few of them waved their crosses around. Some even brought a grail filled with holy water, for Brayan to drink.

A faint light could be seen on his forehead after that. He quickly regained his consciousness.

Even so, the usually high and mighty Brayan was drenched in cold sweat. His entire body was shivering. It was clear just how much fear and pain he was dealing with.

Amora was suddenly reminded of Harvey’s words.

“He wouldn’t be able to sleep at night after three days.

“After five days, he’d start having hallucinations during the day.

“A week later, his limbs will be limp, as if he’s paralyzed.

“A few weeks later, he’ll finally die of exhaustion.”

Amora thought Harvey was just acting like a clown and said all that nonsense after his lies were exposed…

She didn’t think that everything he said would be true!

To her, geomancy arts were just things to fool the public.

Her father’s condition was probably just a coincidence.

However, she started envisioning her miserable end because of her father’s sudden illness…

Suddenly, she felt like she should at least give Harvey a chance to prove himself.

For one, there was nothing left to lose. Also, she could show her father that she wouldn’t hesitate to sacrifice her dignity for the sake of his safety.

Amora acted on her thoughts swiftly.

“Charlize, contact Mandy.”

She turned to her assistant, looking cold and haughty.

“Tell her that for the sake of the top ten families…

“I’m going to give her a chance.

“As long as the geomancy expert she brought can do anything…

“I’ll consider signing the contract she brought as well.

“Tell her this is her only chance, and that it’s the best one she’s got. Tell her to cherish it.”

Charlize found the order a little odd, but she went to make the call anyway.

The next day…

Fortune Hall was open for business, but there were no customers.

Five G-Wagons suddenly appeared, roaring loudly.

Prince Gibson, who was in charge of opening the front gate, observed the crowd with narrowed eyes. He quickly realized that they weren’t normal people.

The car doors opened, revealing many men in suits and dark sunglasses. There were also a few Westerners.

One of them opened the door of the car in the very center. A short-haired woman with golden- rimmed glasses, dressed from head to toe in Chanel -branded apparel, alighted slowly from the car.

She had a haughty look about her, as if she was leagues above everyone else. She was none other than Amora’s secretary, Charlize.

When she saw Fortune Hall’s sign, she narrowed her eyes in disdain.

“Fortune Hall?” she sneered. “This is a place for con men, after all!”
