Mandy Zimmer signaled Harvey York to leave the car when she approached the security guard before the entrance.
“Hello. I’m Mandy Zimmer of the Jean family’s ninth branch. I brought a geomancy expert to help,” she said politely.
“I already called Ms. Amora beforehand.”
The security guard took a few good glances at Mandy before taking his walkie-talkie out.
Then, he hung up and pressed a button, opening the gate for Mandy and Harvey to head inside.
The two came across an elegant-looking garden.
A woman with a pretty face and a beautiful long dress walked out from the villa not far ahead.
She was exuding the aura of an upperclassman. She looked just like a high and mighty princess, looking down at the entire world.
She glanced at Mandy before calmly speaking.
“Hello, Mrs. Zimmer.”
She had her arms completely crossed, not wanting to make any sort of contact with Mandy.
This was enough to show just how prideful she actually was.
Harvey squinted at the woman in front of him. Judging from her tall figure and intonation, he could tell she came from Shaddol.
Along with her proud attitude and the surname…
Her identity was as evident as ever.
“Ms. Amora.”
Mandy was the head of the ninth branch, but she did not seem respected by Amora Foster either.
Then again, she did not mind that at all.
“I heard that Mr. Brayan has been looking for more geomancy experts. That was why I brought the city’s best here, hoping to help him,” she said, faintly smiling.
“Sir York, this is Ms. Amora.”
Harvey smiled when he reached out.
“Hello.”
“The city’s best geomancy expert?”
Amora sized up Harvey with doubtful eyes.
Naturally, she did not believe Harvey had any talent, judging from his age.
Though, she did not say anything about it.
“My father’s in the main hall. Come in,” she said.
Then, she went inside soon after.
Harvey curiously looked at the prideful woman before following Mandy inside without saying a word.
The three came to the main hall.
The decorations were quite exquisite. The antique shelf was filled with ancient porcelain relics, showing the wealth and culture of the owner.
Naturally, the person had quite a strong background and power.
They were not just an ordinary tycoon.
Harvey quickly glanced at the agarwood couch.
A man with golden -rimmed glasses and a robe was quietly reading a scripture.
He seemed a little pale with darkness looming on his head, but he was still in extremely high spirits.
His grayish hair was neatly combed to the back as well.
That said, the dark aura gathering on his head was strong.
A dozen maids were also standing beside him, all ready to serve.
Judging from the sight, Harvey immediately understood why Mandy held that much importance to this meeting.
