If Blaine John actually married Mandy Zimmer, it would be perfect for both the family and the ninth branch.

*** Half an hour later, Harvey York and Mandy arrived at a Western restaurant beside the Rio River.
Mandy bought a change of clothes nearby before putting them on, then ordered some food for Harvey without much effort.
Harvey looked odd when he saw the food in front of him. These were all of his favorites after all.

“Ordinary in-laws wouldn’t go drinking together.
“You wouldn’t pretend to be her boyfriend either if that were actually the case…

“I heard that Kairi Patel’s parents are sensible model parents. Maybe you should give them a try,” replied Mandy.

“Enough. Can we stop talking about her?
“If there was really something between us, don’t you think she would’ve challenged you by now?”
Mandy’s hand trembled when she looked at Harvey with confusion.
She did not expect such an ordinary-looking man to be this confident in his speech.
It felt as if the women who looked up to him would do anything they could just to have him.

Mandy took a deep breath before changing the subject.
“I didn’t come here just to chit-chat.

“I know a big client recently. His house has been in a rough spot recently. I have no choice but to ask for your help…”
