Chapter 4745
Chapter 4745
“Is that so?
“Why are you so sure I’ll let you go after this, anyway?”
Harvey sent her a profound smile.
“You… You’d dare?! If anything happens to me, Young Master John and Young Master Wright will never let you go!” Ensley roared before turning around.
She felt a little frightened; Harvey’s eyes made her realize that he was more than capable of taking her out.
When she arrived at the parking lot, she quickly pulled out her phone, planning to report the incident to Blaine.
She was holding her phone as she drove.
Reaching a crossroad a mile away from the parking lot, a truck filled with gas canisters suddenly charged forward, crashing right into her car.
Boom!
The canisters blew up-disbelief was written all over Ensley’s face as flames engulfed her.
Ensley wasn’t dead.
However, she was unconscious and heavily injured when she was sent to the hospital.
She was lucky – she managed to get out of danger, but she was destined to be a vegetable for the rest of her life.
And yet, in such a big city, nobody cared about a major celebrity like her turning out that way.
After that accident, she disappeared from the face of the earth.
Harvey didn’t care about her survival. For him, people like Ensley were insignificant.
After dealing with the trivial matters, Harvey went to buy a few barbecue skewers on the side of the road. Then, he instructed Thomas to drive to Golden Sands’ branch of Heaven’s Gate.
The place was filled with people; most of the disciples of the branch had showed up here.
After an outer elder was crippled, there was an uproar. The storm would surely converge in Golden Sands’ branch.
Harvey’s arrival had garnered quite a lot of attention. Nobody knew what to feel after seeing his arrival. They weren’t sure if they were supposed to praise his skills, or call him insane.
Harvey didn’t care for them. He asked where Quill was, then left quickly with his barbecue skewer.
Quill was seated in a wide and comfy chair, squeezing his two wrist balls, occasionally forming crackling noises. He looked like an ordinary elderly person, tired and old- looking.
However, his eyes immediately lit up with a gentle gaze when he saw Harvey’s face.
“Harvey, sit.”
Quill pointed at the seat beside him, smiling.
The chair was recently put here. Quill was planning to give Harvey a position in the Golden Sands’s branch of Heaven’s Gate.
Harvey put the barbecue skewers and liquor on the table before smiling back.
“I’m sorry about the trouble this time, Quill.
If Heaven’s Gate demands compensation, just direct them to me. This has nothing to do with you, after all.”
“How dare you?”
Quill glared furiously at Harvey. He munched and chugged the food and drink on the table before continuing.
“We’re brothers now! We should be sharing our troubles with each other!
“How do you think I’m supposed to survive the underworld if I left you like this
