Chapter 4740
Chapter 4740
Slap!
“As an expert martial artist, you take advantage of the people at large! This is inhumane!”
Slap!
“As an outer elder, you take your disciples with you to betray the country! This is injustice!”
Slap!
“A heinous man like you, trying to show off in front of me?”
Harvey had no intention of letting Jakai off the hook that easily. He kept slapping Jakai around with his hand and badge. Jakai’s face became completely swollen, and he kept spitting out blood.
Jakai was an expert martial artist, but he couldn’t use his energy to defend himself from the relentless attacks.
Everyone could tell that Jakai was furious, but he wouldn’t dare move a single inch since Harvey had the badge.
The crowd was baffled and frightened.
The outer elder of the Heaven’s Gate, who could represent the head of the sacred martial arts training ground, didn’t resist!
Who would believe such a thing?
It was clear who was the stronger one out of the two.
Jakai’s sorry state frightened the Islanders who were standing up for Chiba before. They silenced themselves and began keeping a distance from Chiba, acting as if they didn’t know him.
Chiba, Ramon, and the rest looked resentful.
They wanted to strangle Harvey to death, but …. They couldn’t understand why it was so difficult to just do that.
Were live-in sons-in-law extraordinary beings who they couldn’t afford to go against?
Chiba and Ramon’s eyes flashed with manic hatred. They convinced themselves that Jakai would surely find a way to take Harvey out after enduring such humiliation.
Harvey looked like he had the upper hand right now, but he’d surely fall sooner or later because of his stubbornness. He was destined to end up horribly!
Chiba knew what Jakai was capable of.
Chiba was certain Harvey and the people around him would disappear from the face of the earth in just three days!
In fact, he was planning to mobilize the Nobita family’s experts to join the fight.
He couldn’t be at peace unnless Harvey got torn apart.
“Do you acknowledge everything I said to you?”
Harvey finally stopped when he was getting a little tired.
Jakai’s gaze was filled with unspeakable anger and resentment. However, he could only grit his teeth in front of Harvey.
“Of course!”
Naturally, he knew when to give in. If he survived, he’d have ways to take out Harvey.
After all, he had already killed at least eight hundred men. One more wouldn’t mean anything to him.
Harvey smiled.
“Then why do I see so much resentment in you, Elder Jakai?
“Are you thinking of killing me in the middle of the night after this? Hmm?”
Jakai gripped his fist, and retorted defiantly, “No, I wouldn’t dare! Thank you for teaching me this lesson, Sir York. You’ve humbled me greatly. I’ll reflect, and I won’t make the same mistake again!”
His words were humble but resentful, as if he had actually accepted what happened to him.
