On the next day, early in the morning. After running around the place the entire morning, Harvey York told Thomas Burton to fetch Xynthia Zimmer together.
To avoid an awkward situation by bumping into the Zimmer family, he specifically asked Thomas to drive an outdated BMW Seven Series.
Thomas was a little confused but still agreed.
Four o’clock in the afternoon, the car was on the way to the Golden Sands International Airport.
It was a smooth ride at first, but when the car came to an intersection, a Porsche 718 sped through before quickly making a U- turn.
Thomas stepped on the brake out of shock, but the old car brakes were not as responsive. The car slammed right into the side of the Porsche, completely deforming the door of the passenger’s seat.
Harvey frowned while he was sitting behind the car.
“Just give them the money.”
The Porsche was the one that broke traffic laws, but he did not want to waste any more time there.
“Got it. I’ll handle this.”
Thomas pulled out his wallet before walking out of the car.
The driver of the Porsche also stepped out. A woman with an exquisite figure in a Givenchy black skirt could be seen.
Fishnets were covering her long legs as well.
They looked extremely alluring under the bright sun.
The woman had beautiful makeup and an appealing aura, but she also showed a high and mighty look.
Before Thomas even spoke up, she crossed her arms while sizing him up before disdainfully glaring at the BMW.
“Can you even drive, you b*stard?!” she exclaimed coldly.
“Do you know just how expensive my damn car is?!”
Thomas frowned before he remembered what Harvey told him.
“I don’t want to cause more trouble, Miss.
I’ll pay for the damages here,” he replied quietly.
The woman was boiling with anger after seeing the look on Thomas’ face.
“Are you mad?! I literally just got the car imported here!” she screamed furiously.
“I needed to pay thousands of dollars just for this car!
“The value’s going to depreciate when I sell it off again!
“Let me tell you something! If you don’t give me twenty-eight thousand dollars, I’ll settle scores with you sooner or later!
“Either you pay for the damages right now, or we wait till the cops come over!”
Before Thomas could pull out his wallet, he started getting riled up after hearing the woman’s words.
After all, he was the Garbage King. His temper had a limit.
He only calmed himself down because of what Harvey told him…
And yet the woman only kept pushing her luck without even considering that.
“You want to call the cops? Fine!” exclaimed Thomas after letting out a cold chuckle.
“Though, you better think twice before you do that!
“I don’t want to cause trouble, but I’m not afraid of it either!
“You made a U-turn in front of my damn car! This was your fault!
“Maybe you’ll be the one paying for the damages instead!”
“Oh? A loser with a BMW is talking back at me?
The woman pointed her nose directly at Thomas’ face.
“Do you know how expensive my car is?!
“Traffic laws mean absolutely nothing to this car!
“It’s your fault for not moving out of the damn way after seeing me make a U-turn!”
