Chapter 4494
Chapter 4494
Silas said such profound words, and behaved so politely.
Lilian was very much satisfied with him.
His looks and personality were no different from protagonists of TV dramas.
Just like the protagonists, he was a romantic man; he was infatuated with Mandy, which was why he remained single for a long time.
If Harvey was out of the picture, Mandy would be able to finally marry Silas. The Zimmer family would gain a powerful backer.
And then, the Jean family would probably make Mandy the head of the family.
Compared to the top tenth family of Country H, the John family was simply superior.
Lilian looked at her future son-in-law, pleased as punch.
Simon smiled gently.
“Oh, Silas. Mandy will need your help to stand her ground in Golden Sands,” Lilian said.
“You should take care of her.”
“Don’t let other people take advantage of her!”
Silas smiled back.
“You’re overexaggerating.”
“I’ll always spoil Mandy like a little princess, no matter what!”
“I’ll give the entire world for her, let alone a small matter like this!”
“No matter how you see me, I already feel like I’m a part of the family.”
Silas looked pompous and shameless.
Nobody could hear anything fishy out of him.
Gabriel and Avery were impressed.
They were sure that Silas was Simon and Lilian’s biggest reward.
After all, they wouldn’t have the right to even know people like these!
Simon and Lilian were smiling; they were pleased with the entire situation.
It felt as if Harvey was actually invisible.
At this point, Silas seemed like their actual son-in-law instead of Harvey.
“Right! We’re all family here,” Simon said.
“Let’s not chat here.”
“That’d be boring!”
Simon waved his hand, looking like the true head of the house.
“We’ll have to properly celebrate to thank Silas.”
“You know the manager of the Golden Plaza, right, Gabriel?”
“Call him and book the Heavenly Box for us.”
“We won’t come back home till we’re all drunk out of our minds!”
“Get the relatives there, too.”
“Bring all the lobsters and sea urchins. We’ll get everything we can!”
“We’ll take the 1982 Lafite that we have, too!”
“It’s settled!” Gabriel said.
He nodded, then made the call.
Lilian glared at Harvey.
“You probably shouldn’t go, Harvey. That place doesn’t suit you. You’ll make us look bad.”
“Clean up my room instead.”
“We’ll bring you the leftovers later.”
“You’ll have a taste of real seafood very soon!”
Mandy frowned.
“If Harvey’s not going, then I’ll stay with him.”
“What do you mean by that?” Lilian said.
“You’re the main character! You have to go!”
“We have important things to talk to you about!”
Lilian dragged Mandy out of the front door, not giving her a chance to refute.
Everyone went outside with Silas, looking haughty and arrogant.
Silas looked back, and shot Harvey a mocking smile.
Vrrr!
When everyone left, Harvey’s phone rang.
Saul’s laughter could be heard from the other side.
“Mr. Bolton has the entire Golden Plaza booked, Harvey. We’re all waiting for you here!”
“He’ll grill me alive if you don’t come!”
