Not only was Ronnie slapped in the face, he was also slapped to the ground.
Henley and the others were completely shocked to see it.
Henley couldn’t help but slap herself in the face to make sure she wasn’t dreaming.
Harley was filled with disbelief.
She couldn’t believe the fact that every time she challenged Harvey, thinking she’d be able to get the upper hand, he’d bite her in the back.
Her high and mighty attitude would never accept that.
She wanted Harvey to feel fear. Thus, she wanted to cling to Ronnie. She wanted Harvey to beg for mercy, and not be in such high spirits.
“How dare you, Harvey?!”
Ronnie stumbled off the ground.
“Do you think I’m scared of you?!”
“Do you think I’m an easy target for you to push around?!”
“I’m warning you…”

Harvey slapped Ronnie in the face once again.
“Warning me what?”
Ronnie was in a daze after being slapped around for so long.
“What do you want?”
“Kneel and apologize!”
Harvey swung his palm forward.
“Then pay up!”
“Are you deaf? Surely you understand him by now,” Wes interjected calmly.

Ronnie was filled with nothing but resentment.
He wanted to grab a firearm on the ground and put a bullet in Harvey’s head…
But against Wes’s pressure, he wouldn’t dare do anything stupid.
He wanted to kill Wes and Kellan in one go to relieve his anger…
But he knew full well that he couldn’t do it with the little amount of people he had here.
Maybe because of his recklessness, Blazer Estate would turn into history in a blink of an eye.
More importantly, he realized that the Pagan family bodyguards had already blocked off every single exit.
A lot of them even had their firearms out, and they looked completely fearless.
Safe to say, he had no right to lash out, nor was he able to fight anyone to the death.
He was destined to be humiliated!
Ronnie finally gave in and kneeled before Harvey.
“Fine! I give up!”
“Harvey-no, Sir York! I’m sorry… I’m really sorry!”
Ronnie quickly pulled out a check and wrote a string of numbers, then handed it to Harvey.
“Here’s 1.5 million!”
“Please! Pretend that nothing ever happened here!”
Ronnie’s words were filled with murderous intent, but his face had a bright smile.
Harvey didn’t mind; he reached out and tapped Ronnie’s face.
“Not bad. You must be pretty impressive since you know when to quit.”
“I’ll let you go this time.”
“You could’ve just done this sooner, Young Master Lee,” Kellan said with a mocking expression.
“Why take so many slaps in the face before you kneel? It wasn’t worth it at all!”
“That said, I’m really happy for you.”
“You should be thanking Mr. Pagan right now!”
“You’d be dead if it wasn’t for him!”
To Kellan, Ronnie would’ve been six feet under if Wes didn’t take action.
From a certain point, Wes did save Ronnie’s life.
It was only natural for Ronnie to be thankful for it!
That said, to Ronnie, bumping into Wes was the unluckiest thing for him!
In his eyes, Harvey would’ve been dead a thousand times if it wasn’t for Wes!
