Chapter 4306
Chapter 4306
“This isn’t about that. You’re going to pay for my losses,” Harvey said calmly as he studied Silas’s arrogant expression.
Silas laughed coldly.
“I’m paying for your losses, you say? Are you out of your mind?”
Alma quickly took out her phone.
“You’re trying to cause us trouble, aren’t you?”
“Fine! I’ll get the cops here to deal with this!”
“We’ll see how you’ll get out of the situation after that!”
“After all, blackmail is a big crime!”
Alma excitedly dialed the three numbers. It would be so cathartic to send the live-in son- in-law straight to jail!
“Hurry up already,” Harvey urged.
“You should be giving your way to pedestrians on pedestrian crossings. This is the law.”
“Also, you’ll have to take responsibility for my losses if you run into me. This is also the law.”
“The police will surely give you a lesson about this once they arrive.”
Harvey’s calm words were filled with a dominant aura. Silas’s pupils shrunk and he suddenly found it hard to breathe, as if he was having flashbacks during his time on the cruise.
However, he quickly regained his senses once he realized that Harvey was just useless filth who happened to look decent.
Why would he be scared of a kept man like Harvey?
Rylee’s face darkened the moment she saw Harvey picking a fight with Silas, even though she had been pardoned.
“You better know what’s good for yourself, Harvey!”
“I’m not done settling scores with you for what happened on the cruise, either!”
“We have other things to do right now! We can’t be bothered with you!”
“You would’ve died horribly if that wasn’t the case!”
“Are you leaving or not?!”
“If you’re still going to stay, we’ll let the police handle the situation!”
“Not only will you embarrass yourself, but…”
“Mandy will know about this too!”
“You’ll lose everything if that happens!”
“What will you do now?”
“What do you think?”
“Wait for the cops here, of course!”
Harvey gave Rylee a small smile.
“What else am I supposed to do?”
Seeing the cocky look on Harvey’s face, Alma held Rylee’s hand.
“Looks like we were too kind,” she spat coldly.
“He thinks he’s some hotshot just because we didn’t want to fight him!”
“We should show him just how cruel the world actually is!”
Alma waved her hand at Harvey before dialing a number.
Not long after, sirens could be heard from afar.
Soon, two traffic inspectors arrived.
They took out their cameras to record the entire situation, then got Silas to pull his car aside to avoid traffic jams.
“My time’s of the essence. I don’t have time to play with you.”
Silas chuckled coldly, then glared disdainfully at Harvey.
“This is a limited edition Maserati!”
“The paint alone needs a hundred and fifty thousand dollars to repair!”
“For Mandy’s sake, I’ll cut the price. You just need to pay a hundred and fifteen.”
“If you don’t pay up, I’ll chase you to the ends of the earth!”
Silas spoke casually, but his face was frosty.
According to his investigations, the live-in son-in-law only had a few hundred dollars in his bank account.
A hundred and fifteen dollars would surely cost Harvey his life!
He wanted to make fun of Harvey’s situation when he met with Mandy later.. He wanted her to see just how useless Harvey truly was!
This alone wasn’t enough for Silas’s revenge – he wanted Mandy to know just how different he was compared to Harvey!
That way, he’d have the excuse to crush Harvey more efficiently.
