After saving Kairi Patel, Harvey York left the scene for her to clean up.
He believed that she would handle everything properly, judging from her abilities.
Then, he called Thomas Burton for him to drive them both to a place to eat.
Harvey wanted to go to a roadside stall, but Thomas insisted on treating him to a good meal. The two then went to the Golden Sands Hotel.
Thomas was extremely quiet while he was on the road. He did not say a single word after seeing the bloodshed in front of him just now. He did not ask Harvey about the details, as if nothing had happened.

Soon after, the car was parked in front of the Golden Sands Hotel. Thomas quickly pulled out a bank card and gave it to Harvey when he remembered something.
“Here’s 7.3 million dollars, Sir York. This is all I have for now.”
“Give this to Mandy Zimmer. Tell her that there’s no rush to pay this back.”
“I wanted to give this to her a few days ago. My ability is limited, so this is all I can get after the past few days.”
“Tell her I wasn’t good enough to repay her favor too. Sigh…”
Naturally, Thomas was a man of gratitude.
Harvey thought Thomas was just putting up a front, but he did not expect he would actually do whatever he could to gather the money.
Harvey did not keep the card. He quickly shook his head and said, “You should keep this to yourself. Mandy dealt with her problem already.”
Harvey explained the situation to Thomas to convince him fully.
“Kellan Ruiz had a small meeting with the chairman of the Golden Sands Bank, Mr. Robbins. Since he greatly respected Kellan, he decided to deal with the funds immediately.”
“So, it’s all settled then?”
Thomas briefly froze before showing a smile on his face.
“I knew you were a man who could do great things the moment I saw you!”
“Mandy would surely get through anything with you here!”
Naturally, he remembered everything that happened the night Idris Saban slapped him around.
He remembered the fact that Kellan greatly respected him as well. He had no doubt in his mind that Harvey could solve Mandy’s problem at this moment.
But even so, Thomas still decided to speak up about this.
“You should still give the money to Mandy, Sir York.”
“She’s in real trouble right now. It’d be better for her to have more money to reallocate anyway.”
