Zarla couldn’t hold back any longer after hearing Harvey’s words.
She chuckled, and then looked at Harvey with a mocking expression.
“The Haunt?”
“Evil energy?”

“At first, we didn’t want to expose you for CEO Ruiz’s sake, Harvey!”
“And then, what? You have no boundaries when it comes to showing off!”
“You’re still saying things like that in this day and age? People will think you’re insane!”
“I’ve looked into you too! You’re just a live-in son-in-law who got kicked out of his family!”

“Surely you don’t know any geomancy arts of the sort!”

“CEO Ruiz won’t expose you, but I won’t give you any chances to fool him!”
Zarla looked at Kellan with a righteous expression.
“It’s not that I wish to disrespect you, CEO Ruiz. It’s not my intention to use the opportunity to go. against Harvey, either,” she said with a coy tone.

Zarla felt refreshed after running her mouth at Harvey; she thought herself righteous and morally superior.
Of course, she wanted to pay Harvey back for trampling all over her son!
Only then would she be able to be relieved from her rage and discontent.

After hearing Zarla’s words, an enraged Kellan let out a furious roar.
“You know nothing, you little b*tch!”

Cliff quickly stood up for his wife, then glared at Harvey.
“Please forgive her if she has said anything out of place!”
Naturally, as the boss of Evergreen Capital Group, he had been doing business in the gray area.
He had ruined countless families with his own two hands. Thus, he never believed in superstitious things such as karma.
If there was such a thing, the people he tormented would’ve paid him back by now!
He thought that a live-in son-in-law who had Kellan’s respect would at least be capable of something…

In Cliff’s eyes, Harvey was just a con man.

Zarla didn’t want to offend Kellan, but she was boiling with anger since Harvey wouldn’t admit to his faults.
“We’re saying all this for your sake, CEO Ruiz!” she retorted, keen on defending herself.
“He’s just a con man!”
“Shut up!” Kellan roared again.
He slammed the table furiously before lifting his shirt, revealing his chest.
Just like what Harvey had said, there were red dots from both sides of his chest that seemed like they were about to converge into a single point.
It was a terrifying sight!
