The woman looked around her before crying in a teary voice, “Can someone please help me?!”
“My grandfather’s stuck inside!”
The elderly person had a horrible look on his face. The steel frame of the Mercedes started to creak as well.
Everyone could tell that the person would be squashed inside as soon as the steel frame snapped.
Not even 911 would be able to help.
The people around stopped taking pictures after hearing the woman’s cries; they felt extremely guilty about it.
A few wanted to help, but they started to hesitate before deciding to stay.
Everyone could tell that the person was either rich or powerful; it’d be good if they could save him.
But if they couldn’t, it’d be bad once they get themselves dragged into the situation.

A horrible shriek came from the steel frame. It looked like it was about to give in at any moment.
The elderly person inside grunted in pain, blood seeping out of his mouth.
The woman started to panic as soon as they saw the sight.
She looked around, spotting a few tall and strong men around her.
“Please! Help my grandfather!” she exclaimed with tears in her eyes.
“I’ll give you each fifteen thousand dollars if you do!”
“No! A hundred and fifteen thousand!”
Everyone gasped after hearing her words.
‘She’s a rich lady, after all…’
That said, her words only deterred everyone from saving her grandfather.
After all, nobody wanted to take responsibility if that man died.
If there was a fight going on between wealthy families, taking action alone would mean death!
Harvey frowned, then took a step forward.
“What are you doing, Harvey?” Xynthia whispered, pulling Harvey back.
“I’m trying to save that man,” he replied.
Xynthia frowned.
“It’s not that I’m trying to stop you, but that car’s about to explode at any moment!”
“That man’s completely stuck inside! He’s hurt as well!”
“If you ruin the balance by dragging the person out, the car will be crushed!”
“When that happens, even you…”
Xynthia trembled.
It wasn’t that she didn’t want Harvey to save anyone, but she cared about him more than anybody else.
“It’s fine. I’ll be quick.”
“I know you’re skilled, Harvey…”
However, Xynthia wouldn’t let go of Harvey.
“But you can tell that the man’s clearly a rich and powerful man.”
“I have a bit of understanding of the city’s top-rated circle, but I don’t know these people at all.”
“This means they must be from the most mysterious family out of them all.”
“Their waters run really deep…”
“You’ll be in deep trouble if you get yourself involved!”
“You’re just about to get remarried with Mandy! Don’t cause more trouble to yourself!”
Xynthia tried her best to convince Harvey.
Nonetheless, Harvey patted Xynthia’s head.
“Don’t worry. I’ll deal with anything that comes my way.”
