“Right.” Harvey smiled warmly at her.
“Did you forget something else?” Mandy froze.
“what is it?”
“It will be our anniversary in three days.”
“Should we be making a new marriage certificate?”
Mandy’s face went bright red, and she quickly hung up.Three o’clock in the afternoon, at the VIP sickroom of the Blackburn City People’s Hospital.
Grandma Cobb had been awake for a while.She leaned in her bed, her eyes a cold glare; the wrinkles on her face were extremely deep.It was a horrible sight.She stared blankly in front of her without saying a single word.
There were no signs of rage, either.
The people gathered in the same room kept giving each other looks, hoping that Grandma Cobb would be able to come out with a plan…Yet, she remained silent the entire time.
“What are we supposed to do, Grandma Cobb?”
Eden couldn’t stand the atmosphere any longer.He was getting extremely anxious; he was afraid Grandma Cobb would actually agree to the conditions.
Not only would his legs be broken, but the Cobb family would also lose everything in the process! There would be no way for them to enjoy their glory and riches for the rest of their lives! “You need to come up with something!”
“yes! You’re the head of the family, Grandma Cobb! You’re our backbone!”
“You can’t panic right now! We need to band together to deal with the enemy!” Valery exclaimed.
