“So what?” Harvey replied calmly
Vance chuckled, and then pointed at Harvey.
“How dare you show off in the South Sea when you’re not even a citizen here?!”
“Do you think you’re impressive just because you managed to take down a few of my men with your lame martial arts?”
“Don’t be naive!”
“It’s only natural for me to take you down! If you try to fight back, you’ll be breaking the laws of Blackburn City!”
“You’ll get thrown behind bars if you keep this up!”
“I suggest you stop while you still can!”
Vance clapped his hands when he was done talking.
The door opened soon after, and dozens of men in suits rushed in.
A woman in a leather jacket with short hair walked beside Vance. Then, she shot Harvey a death glare.
Vance became a lot more prideful after these people showed up.
“You have a sharp tongue, kid. You’re pretty tough too, but I don’t like you.
“But as you’re so bold, I’ll give you a chance.”
“Kneel and break your arm right now. For Miss Cobb’s sake, I’ll let you live if you do as I say.”
“Either you do that, or I get someone else to break all of your limbs before I send you swimming with the fishes!”
“There’s no need for that, CEO Toft.”
The short-haired woman smiled at Harvey.
“I love handsome young men like him the most. If you let me handle this, I’ll teach him a painful lesson for going against you.”
“I’ll make him wish that he’s dead!”
The short-haired woman was Vance’s top bodyguard; not only was she extremely powerful, she was utterly ruthless as well.
She was already quite unhappy after seeing Harvey acting like such a show-off.
She also firmly believed she could make Harvey kneel and worship her.
Harvey glanced at the woman, she had a beautiful face, but there were a lot of calluses on her hands, left by her training. She could be considered quite an impressive figure.
“I’m sorry, I’m not interested in your choices.”
“Good! You’ve got guts!”
Vance burst out laughing.
He had always scoffed at show-offs who flaunted what little strength they had.
He glanced at the short-haired woman and said, “This man’s yours, Zora.”
“Teach him a lesson-show him how to respect his elders in Blackburn City!”
Pure arrogance and dominance.
Vance was clearly showing these traits at this very moment.
“Right!” Zora exclaimed, her lips a cold smile.
“You’re dead, kid!”
Zora pulled out a machete and charged straight at Harvey
“Be careful, Sir York!” Katy yelled instinctively.
Bam!
Harvey was as calm as ever, he kicked a chair right toward Zora.
Zora scoffed and then waved her machete around, sounds of metal clashing could be heard all over the place, and debris flew everywhere.
The other bodyguards instinctively stepped back, their expressions awful.
During the chaos, Harvey took a step forward and appeared right in front of Vance.
He picked up a knife and placed it on Vance’s throat before the latter could even react.
Vance’s face lost all color immediately.
