Ansel chuckled bitterly.

Ansel nodded; before he could say something, his phone started vibrating. After picking up the call, his expression changed.

“The Indians are fully prepared!”
“The woman who poisoned Amber and the talents jumped into a lake after leaving a suicide note! Her whereabouts are currently unknown!”
“Koen and Emily are being protected by Golden Palace; we won’t be able to interrogate them at this point.”
“Your testimony isn’t crucial either.”
“Without any solid proof, if we accuse the Indians of something this despicable, they might bite us back and claim they’re being slandered, and that we’re the ones who put up the show…”
“At this point, it’s just too difficult to go against them!”
‘They actually came prepared!”
“Since we can’t find a way to deal with them, we’ll just have to wait and see.”
