Harvey York’s Rise To Power Chapter 3657

Chapter 3657

“You should understand this, Vice Branch Leader Benett!”

“Avoiding the fight this time doesn’t mean that we won’t fight another time. We’re only staying low for the time being!”

“Next time, when our top talents look good enough to crush the Indians, we’ll just challenge them again.”

“You should know that power doesn’t mean everything in this day and age. We need to think ahead!”

“Hard work always pays off. There’s always time to take revenge!”

“If the kings from ancient times only talked about blood and courage, we wouldn’t have enough rulers to last this long.”

“If they couldn’t bear any sort of humiliation, how would they be able to rise in the future?”

“Logically speaking, we should remain discreet and decline the challenge!”

“So what if we endure a little bit of shame?” an elder added sternly.

“We’ll just ask for forgiveness after the situation passes!”

“If we lose this fight, we wouldn’t be able to fix the situation, even with our lives!”

Fisher took a deep breath.

“Vice Master, I think for us martial artists, progress is always more important than the end result!”

“Not only will we be humiliated for avoiding the fight, the younger generation will lose their backbones as well.”

“There are dire consequences!”

A few of the elders looked at each other after hearing Fisher’s words.

“Vice Branch Leader Benett’s right, Vice Master.”

“Maybe we should let the younger ones fight instead; they’ll be brave enough to fight past the shame if they do lose.”

The people on Bryce’s side were completely infuriated by those words.

“What do you mean by that?”

“You think we’re just going to sacrifice Longmen’s reputation for a few young ones?!”

“Only you people can think of something this stupid!”

“Do you think the ones who avoid the fight won’t embarrass Longmen?!” the elders on the

other side screamed in anger.

Soon, the elders split into two because of Bryce and Fisher’s differing opinions, thinking that they were right in their own way.

“Just ask the master for instructions if we can’t decide. I’m sure he’ll want to fight as well!” Fisher exclaimed decisively.

“Alright! Enough!”

Bryce’s eyes started twitching after hearing the title.

If the master of Longmen was involved, he most likely wouldn’t be able to hold any power in Longmen in the future, let alone be humiliated!

He slammed the table furiously, and then looked at an elder who had remained calm the

entire time.

“Elder Steele! The three top talents we picked out were all taught by you.”

“Do you think those three will stand a chance?”

“If you do, how likely do you think they’ll win?”

“It’s hard to say,” Elder Steele replied.

“The three top talents were chosen from the younger generation of the Outer and Inner

Halls.”

“They are all gifted students who study Longmen’s advanced martial arts.”

“But there’s a problem: they have almost no experience. They haven’t fought enough

people.”

“They need time to grow; they can’t just get better by reading extensively.”

Elder Steele then looked back at Fisher.

“I don’t know how strong your champion is, Vice Branch Leader Benett…”

“But the other three top talents are just too weak. They’re nothing compared to the Indian top talents right now!”
