Audrey Lopez instantly cut off Xynthia Zimmer with an annoyed look.
“There are no misunderstandings, nor are there any friends here!
“I don’t need to call anyone!
“This is now Young Master Bauer’s property!
“You people better get out of here right now! Stop affecting our business!
“If not, I’ll tell Young Master Bauer to teach Harvey York a lesson he won’t forget!
Audrey then waved her hand with a cold expression.
“Come! Get them out of here!”
A dozen security guards furiously rushed forward with firearms in hand.
It was Xynthia’s first time seeing such a sight. After hesitating for a moment, she decided to comply for the time being.
“We’re leaving!”
Xynthia resentfully went back to the Martial hall,
“Jeff Bauer bought every single property of Flutwell’s business alliance?
Harvey’s eyes lit up after hearing Xynthia’s explanation.
“There’s no rush. Let me make a phone call.”
Harvey then gave Ansel Torres a call.
Ansel froze. He immediately contacted the government before getting back to Harvey.
“Jeff got us this time, Sir York.
“Joseph owed him billions of dollars. He even has an IOU to prove it.
“While the government was seizing the properties of Flutwell’s business alliance, he forced Joseph to sign a contract and bequeath him everything!
“I heard that Joseph also did it willingly.
“And because of the timing, the government didn’t have enough time to seize the properties.
“We’re basically giving him the properties on a silver platter…”
“I get it now.
Harvey cracked a smile.
“No wonder Young Master Bauer sent Arya Johnson to help us without showing up himself last night.
“He was doing business after all!”
“Sir York, Jeff knew you were doing all the work. You should be the one reaping the
benefits in the first place!
“Instead, he robbed you of your spoils! How nasty can he get?!”
A hint of rage could be felt in Ansel’s tone.
Harvey calmly smiled.
“It’s fine. I wanted to share with him anyway.
“But since he wants to play dirty, I’ll play along.”
Soon after, Harvey hung up the call.
Kayden Balmer showed a horrible expression when he heard the conversation.
“What should we do now, Sir York?
“We won’t just let that b*stard get away with this, right?
“You fought for all this!”
Xynthia seemed anxious even though she did not say a single word.
Harvey smiled and gestured to Xynthia to leave before snapping his fingers. Soon after, Rachel Hardy walked out.
When everyone was here, Harvey said with a smile, “Everything should’ve been over after what happened last night…
“But since Young Master Bauer has a death wish, we’ll have to oblige!
“There are a few things I’ll have you do right now.
“Number one: spread word on the internet. Say that the two young masters of the Bauer family had been doing whatever it took to rise to power, even to the point of conspiring against Harold Bauer!
“Jeff getting ahold of Flutwell’s business alliance’s properties is proof of that!
“Number two: contact all the people involved, including the victims of the chain Budokans and their families, to sue Joseph for his crimes!”
