“Harvey?!”
“Why is this b*stard already here?!”
Ruby instinctively looked over; her heart immediately skipped a beat after seeing the person in front of the car.
She quickly revealed a small smile as she approached Harvey, with Mandy’s hair in her hand.
“Aaagh!”
Mandy couldn’t help but let out a scream as her hair was pulled around.
Ruby casually slapped Mandy’s beautiful face before hissing coldly, “Scream! Scream louder!”
“Let your
husband hear! See what happens if you go against Young Master Bauer!”
Mandy grunted after feeling a sharp pain on her face.
She held her tears back when she looked at Harvey.
“Harvey!”
After seeing Ruby treating Mandy in such a way, and the blood and scars on Mandy’s face, Harvey’s eyes glowed with murderous intent.
He took a deep breath and asked, “Are you okay, Mandy?”
“I’m fine…” Mandy replied, though she was in pain.
Harvey managed to calm down when he ensured Mandy was fine.
He didn’t think Joseph would actually be this shameless.
They couldn’t get their hands.on Mandy, so they decided to use Lilian for that instead.
“Good. I’ll get you home soon,” Harvey said.
Mandy replied to him with a warm smile; an unspeakable sense of trust could be sensed in her joy.
Everything that had happened in Flutwell made it clear that Harvey could protect her.
“You shouldn’t have come, Harvey…” she muttered quietly.
“Tsk! What a sweet couple! I’m tearing up just looking at you
two!”
“Even TV shows aren’t this damn cliche!”
“I’d let you down if I don’t put up a good show, won’t I?!”
Before Harvey could even say anything, Ruby swung the back of her palm across Mandy’s face.
A bright red palm print could be seen on Mandy’s face. Some blood trickled out from the corner of her mouth.
Harvey glared at Ruby with frosty eyes.
“Don’t you dare cross the line, Ruby.”
“Even Joseph wouldn’t dare act this way in front of me.”
“Cross the line? Let me tell you something! I can do much worse for Young Master Bauer’s sake!”
Ruby flashed him a wicked smile before kicking Mandy’s stomach.
“You have one minute, Harvey!”
“Call your people and tell them to stop whatever they’re doing in the stock market against Young Master Bauer!”
“I’ll let your woman go if you do! If not, I’ll make her regret coming to this damn world!”
“If Young Master Bauer goes bankrupt because of you, I’ll make sure this woman dies with him!”
A cold smirk appeared on Ruby’s beautiful face.
“Looks like you really want to die…” Harvey said, his tone grim.
“You think so?”
Ruby chuckled before showing a gesture; her men had Harvey completely surrounded instantly.
“I know you’re good at fighting, but you’re definitely not quicker than me when you’re that far away!” she screamed coldly.
“Make the call before I kill your woman!”
Her face was a wretched look indeed.
