Harvey York’s Rise To Power Chapter 3550
Chapter 3550
Elanor froze.
“Why? What makes you think that I’d say that?”
Harvey stood up and picked up the check with a tiny smile.
“You’re the fifth mistress. You’ll never become the lady of the Bauer family…”
Harvey turned around and left after that.
While Elanor’s expressions were constantly changing, Rachel entered the room.
She casually put down a check in front of Elanor.
Elanor’s eyes twitched frantically after taking a look at it.
Seventy million dollars was written on it.
The check was clearly signed by Harvey beforehand.
Elanor’s eyes sharpened into a hard glare.
“What’s the meaning of this?” she demanded coldly.
“Is he trying to buy me off?”
“Let me tell you something! Young Master Bauer’s women can never be bought!”
“We only live for Young Master Bauer!”
“Calm down.”
Rachel tapped Elanor’s smooth shoulder, calm.
“Sir York isn’t planning to buy you off.”
“He just wants you to know that there are times when all the emperor’s concubines are sent to limbo.”
“Let alone a rich playboy like Young Master Bauer,”
“You’re called a mistress on the outside, but if we put it bluntly, you’re just his
plaything.”
“If you don’t secure a living for yourself while you’re young, how are you supposed to survive when you’re old?”
“You can’t just turn yourself into a beggar after being someone else’s mistress now,
can you?”
Elanor’s body trembled. Then, she let out a sigh.
“You got me.”
“Tell Sir York I appreciate his gift.”
“I’ll make sure Young Master Bauer accepts his request.”
“Also, please tell Sir York to hurry.”
“After all, we both want Joseph to fall, don’t we?”
Elanor then turned around and left, her face bleak.
After dealing with Jeff, Harvey had no intention to go for Joseph immediately.
Joseph deserved death, but Harvey wasn’t in a rush to kill him just yet.
Rather, Jeff was the person who should be rushing.
As Harvey was planning his next steps, his phone rang all of a sudden.
Dillon’s frightened voice could be heard on the other side of the phone.
“This is bad, Sir York!”
“One of our students died while he was training here!”
Harvey frowned at those words. And so, he immediately left the scene to Rachel before rushing to the Martial Hall with his Toyota Prado.
How was a student already dead before he even started his business?
What a joke!
Half an hour later, Harvey arrived in front of the Martial Hall.
It was already nighttime, but a lot of people had shown up at the entrance of the ancient-looking Martial Hall. Sounds of sobbing and shrieking echoed all over the place.
Harvey’s vision became clear when he squeezed past the crowd.
Dillon’s face was completely swollen. It was clear he was beaten up without even being given the chance to fight back.
Several fierce-looking people were there, carrying wooden sticks. They looked as if they were planning to kill Dillon.
Dillon’s juniors were terrified; naturally, they had never seen such a thing.
