Harvey York’s Rise to Power Chapter 3423

Harvey York’s Rise To Power Chapter 3423

Chapter 3423

Joseph’s face was frosty.

A hundred and fifty million was a small amount to him. It wouldn’t be hard for him to bring out that amount of money in an instant.

However, he planned to sell ten thousand houses that day

Concepts like internet–famous spots and hype are simply that: concepts.

If Harvey actually returned the hundred houses, the idea of this place being the top district of the southwest would dissipate in an instant.

The wealthy who came here out of impulse would probably calm down and choose to wait.

If that were to happen, Joseph’s plans to sell out every single property of the new district would go up in flames.

It didn’t matter if he wanted his money back as soon as possible, or if he wanted to keep hyping up his properties

He couldn’t allow Harvey to return the houses, no matter

what.

Joseph was beginning to regret his decision.

If he knew Harvey was this troublesome to deal with, he wouldn’t have coerced the Indians to go against Harvey in the first place.

It was a shame that all that was in the past. There was no point dwelling on the thought.

“Weren’t you boasting about the place being the top district of the southwest, and that the land would cost hundreds and thousands of dollars in the future?”

Harvey flashed Joseph a small smile.

“I’m giving you a chance to turn the land into millions.”

“I spent three million dollars to buy the houses!”

“At this point, you’re buying them for half the price. I’m the one losing money here!”

“Why don’t you want to buy the houses back? You’re a smart man, aren’t you?”

“Are you not confident in your own words?”

“Or are you saying that you’re just trying to fool everyone here?”

“Perhaps you’ve run out of money?”

“If you have no money, I don’t mind having your IOU, long as the interests are good enough.”

Harvey’s calm words were enough to strike Joseph’s

heart.

as

Some, who were riled up before, calmed down; they felt

that something was a little off…

Harvey was right.

Joseph was boasting about the place as if it came straight

from Heaven; not only was the idea good, but the scenery was extraordinary as well.

Logically speaking, Joseph could earn a lot of money had he just bought the houses back…

Yet, he declined the offer.

It seemed he didn’t believe his own words earlier.

As expected from a capitalist lying through his teeth.

In just a single moment, everyone who was ready to buy the houses started rethinking their decisions.

Many of them decided to wait and see what would happen.

If any risk was involved, their money would go right down the drain.

Joseph’s eyes flashed with a cold light when he saw the buyers‘ hesitance.

He knew Harvey was a tough nut to crack, but he never thought that Harvey would be such a huge challenge to deal with.

No wonder Frankie and the others suffered when they went against Harvey.

Still, even if Harvey managed to have connections with

someone powerful…

Judging from the situation, Harvey had no way out as

well.

That said, Joseph was quite an experienced man.

“This is a big day for Flutwell’s new district, Sir York.”

“I can hold you responsible for making such a big mess!”

“But for the sake of the buyers‘ rights, I’ll make an exception. I’ll allow you to return the houses…”

“Please head to the after–sales service department for

the procedures.”

“The staff there will definitely be of great help.”

“Another thing: because of this, I give everyone here my promise that you’ll be able to return your houses if you’re unhappy with your purchases!“
