Harvey York’s Rise To Power Chapter 3422

Chapter 3422

Harvey looked at Joseph with a small smile.

“Since your tongue is so sharp, why don’t you tell me the reason you coerced the Indians to attack my wife?”

“If you spit everything out, I’ll apologize to you right now and buy a few more houses from you.”

“But if you can’t, you’re just a coward!”

“Your promises of your property skyrocketing in price are just utter bullsh*t!”

“If the prices can really skyrocket, I’ll definitely return

the houses!”

The crowd fell into an uproar after hearing Harvey’s

words. Everyone could sense the conflict between the two prominent figures.

The buyers‘ excitement was immediately gone because of

Harvey.

Joseph’s expression worsened slightly.

He wanted to use the buyers to deal with Harvey, but he never expected that his unspeakable acts would be

revealed this way.

At this point, Joseph had no other choice.

“What are you talking about? I don’t understand what you mean.‘

“You can’t just spout nonsense and expect that to ruin the event!”

“So, you’re not admitting to it?”

“You’re not going to apologize?”

“You’re not going to explain the situation?”

Harvey looked at Joseph with narrowed eyes. Then, he sighed.

“Young Master Bauer, I’m usually quite a peaceful man. If I’m not provoked, I don’t see a point to cause trouble.”

“But if someone tries to trample all over me without admitting to his faults, I won’t be able to live with myself if I don’t fight back.”

“That’s why, I’m definitely returning the houses today!”

Joseph showed a cold gaze…

However, he still remained calm.

“Without a proper reason, you’re not allowed to return

the houses.”

“A proper reason?”

Harvey smiled, calm.

“Even online shopping has a return policy without a proper reason, together with three months of quality assurance.”

“What? Do you think you can just ignore the Consumer Protection Act just because you’re a young master?”

“Let me tell you something: according to the law, since I legally bought the houses, I can return them as I please within three months!”

“Not only that! According to the contract, you’ll have to pay back all of the taxes I paid as well.”

“Simply put, you have no say as to whether I can return the houses or not!”

“A hundred houses for a hundred and fifty million dollars. It’s not a lot for you, I’m sure. I’ll leave immediately after you pay up.”

་་

“Or are you saying you don’t even have that amount of

money?”

“If that’s the case, you’re basically asking for food from beggars!”

One of the people from Flutwell’s business alliance revealed a cold expression upon hearing Harvey’s

arrogant tone.

“How dare you?!” he exclaimed coldly.

“You’re just an outsider! You have no right to talk to Young Master Bauer like that!”

“You’re not even worthy!”

Harvey, however, ignored that person completely and squinted at Joseph.

“Well? Are you letting me return the houses or not?”

“I’m sorry. I’m afraid I can’t do that for you.”

Joseph took a step forward with an expression as cold as

ice.

“If you were the initial buyer, you’d be able to return them according to the contract.”

“But since you bought them second–hand, you’d have to look for your previous sellers. There’s no point in coming

for me now.”

“Of course, you can still resell the houses and again if you want. I’ll even help you with the procedures. How does that sound?”
