Chapter 3194 After hanging up, Harvey took Xynthia to the Flutwell Police Station immediately.
After going through the procedures to get Lilian and Mandy out of jail, Harvey provided his whereabouts last night to the police and evidence supporting his claim.
After all, Ezra and Dylan were targeted because of him.
To prevent the enemy from getting the police‘s support, Harvey simply decided to defend himself first.
Logan , Flutwell Police Station‘s second–in–command, was confused but had no reason to decline Harvey‘s testimony, especially when Harvey came here himself.
When everything was all dealt with, it was already three o‘clock in the afternoon.
While Harvey was waiting at the front door for Lilian and Mandy, Rachel and a huge group of people showed up. Other than lawyers, assistants, and bodyguards, there were a few familiar disciples of Longmen whom Rachel picked from Longmen‘s Law Enforcement. Rachel was indeed quite talented. If it were anyone else, they wouldn‘t be able to restructure the entire organization in a single night.
She walked toward Harvey and said respectfully, “I heard you went to give the police your testimony, Sir York.”
“I‘m just planning ahead,” Harvey replied.
Rachel nodded.
“I found evidence to prove your whereabouts last night, and that you have nothing to do with Ezra and Dylan‘s deaths.”
“Unless there‘s any new evidence, both the police and the government wouldn‘t make it any harder for us.”
“That said…”
Rachel‘s head started to ache.
“I just received word that Jordan Bowie was going out of his mind.”
“He believes you were the one who killed Dylan, and swore to make you pay.”
Harvey narrowed his eyes.
“Jordan? Dylan‘s dad? The head of the Bowie family?”
“That‘s right. The Bowie family wasn‘t considered to be a wealthy family, but that was before Jordan‘s daughter married into the Bauer family.”
Rachel brought out her phone to read out the details to Harvey.
“For the past few years, the Bowie family had been expanding quickly.”
“Jordan acted as the Bauer family‘s obedient servant, going after whoever he was ordered to.”
“At that point, everyone would rather challenge the Bauer family than to go against him”. “Dylan was Jordan‘s precious baby, and Ezra was his good friend as well as being Dylan‘s teacher.”
“Since he believes you were deeply involved with both of their deaths…”
“He‘ll find a way to exact his revenge.”
“He must be a smart man if he even gave his daughter away just to climb the ranks. There‘s no way he‘d lose his cool over something like this!”
“I‘ve already proved my innocence at the police station.”
“What‘s the point of him slandering me at this point?”
“Get someone to call him. Tell him I don‘t care who the perpetrator is.”
“But if he keeps pestering me, I’ll kill him myself.” Harvey had no interest in explaining himself to someone like Jordan.
As long as he was stronger, there was nothing anyone could do against him.
While Harvey and Rachel were still chatting , Lilian and Mandy finally changed back into their own clothes and were escorted out of prison by a few inspectors. 2
