Scarlett only saw Harvey as a useless kept man.
Thus, she thought that she had a chance to make a comeback if she could break up Harvey and Yoana.
Harvey chuckled, amused.
“You can’t possibly think there’s a point to agitate me with those words, right?” he asked coolly.
“If I wanted you dead, you would’ve been dead by now. Why would I keep you waiting?”
“What the hell do you want?!”
Scarlett’s expression changed slightly.
“Simple. Tell me who ordered you to kill me. I’ll need to have a word with whoever that is.”
Harvey smiled.
“I know that it’s most likely that idiot Vince…”
“But if you want to let the Five Virtues Temple take the blame, I don’t have any objections either.”
“After all, I’ve been thinking about visiting them for a long time now.”
Harvey appeared calm and casual.
Scarlett’s expression changed immediately.
“You’re trying to hurt Vince?!”
Harvey laughed again.
“What’s with that surprise? He’s been sending so many people after me. It’s only natural I get him back, right?”
“That said, you really are one poor woman.”
“Not only did he play with your body, but you also had to be his scapegoat. You’re planning to betray your own master for a man that doesn’t even care about you?”
“I’m curious, Scarlett. What did Vince promise you to make you so loyal?”
“Did he promise you his love, saying that he only has you in his heart? Or did he promise you the position as the lady of the York family?”
“Don’t you think you’re terribly dumb for believing his words? Aren’t you just stupid?”
Scarlett’s eyes twitched uncontrollably after hearing Harvey’s taunts.
Harvey seemed to have seen through everything. Every single word pierced Scarlett’s heart, making her doubt everything that she had done before.
Seeing her doubt herself while fear slowly filled her, Harvey clapped his hands softly.
“Alright. The sun’s almost up. I have to drink my morning tea.”
“I’ll give you one minute to make up your mind.”
“Are you going to call out the Five Virtues Temple, or the Yorks from Hong Kong?”

Scarlett’s eyes twitched. In a fit of anger, she stomped on the ground. Shattered tiles flew all over the place immediately after.
The elites instinctively dodged them.
Smoke and dust thickened the air. Scarlett took
advantage of this and leapt toward Harvey, aiming her gun at him.
“If I kill you, no one will need a statement!” she screamed.

Scarlett pulled the trigger, her beautiful face twisted in a look of wretched fury.

Before she could pull the trigger again, Harvey’s hand was already on the warm barrel.
The barrel slowly turned toward Scarlett’s head.
Fear colored her face.
“Talk.”
“Who ordered you to do this?”
“Or rather, are you ready to sell out your training ground or your man?”
“Maybe even both?”

Scarlett shot him a hateful look, her face ugly and horrid. She pulled the trigger again, determination coloring her eyes.
