Katy Cobb was so shocked to the point where her face had completely lost all color.

If the poison had reached into his arteries, Dean would have died on the spot.
Harvey was not a properly trained doctor. It would be difficult for him to handle the situation.
Almost simultaneously, Harvey made a big incision on Dean‘s chest with a scalpel, releasing
more blood from his body. He did this to let some of the poison out while stopping the black string from getting into Dean‘s heart.
Soon after, Harvey furiously yelled, “Get out!”
It was not loud, but the tone was filled with a dignified aura, scaring people like Kim Moreno off. She could not come to her senses after hearing Harvey‘s bellow at that moment.
Harvey did not know who the woman was, but he knew full well that it would affect Dean‘s operation if he kept getting bothered.
Harvey did not have any time to deal with Kim, though. After all, he was wholly focused on removing the poison from Dean‘s body.
He needed every second to remove the poison. If not, everything would be for naught.
Harvey swiftly poked a few different spots on Dean‘s chest without a second thought,
temporarily stopping the poison from infecting the remainder of his blood.

Harvey then grabbed another scalpel and stabbed the top of Dean‘s forehead.
Dark blood spurted all over the place. It was a terrifying sight, but the poison was temporarily stopped.

Kim seemed utterly enraged.
“I can understand the pain you went through to take care of an elderly cripple for so many years!

“I don‘t understand, Katy! How did a social butterfly like you manage to be the head of the gang when you don‘t even have a shred of loyalty?!
“Don‘t you know that you should at least respect the old and cherish the young?!”
