Louis‘s expression changed constantly, his arrogance long gone.
This was utterly humiliating for him.
He had roamed the Dark Island and was well known for being fearless.
Yet, at this moment, he was completely suppressed by another person.
The man turned out to be a lot more ruthless than him. The grenade would explode at any second, and people were really going to die.
Louis thought that he didn‘t fear death, and that he could scare everyone off with this fact.
But today, the man that showed up out of nowhere made him realize the fear in his heart.
His arrogant and domineering attitude was built upon his lack of fear toward death.
But after having no control over the entire situation, after realizing that there was a chance he would perish in someone else‘s hand…
Just like everyone else, he would instantly give up without breaking a sweat!
This realization twisted Louis‘s face into a horrible expression of fear.
“You‘ve got guts, kid! Are you one of Mendoza‘s men?! State your name if you dare!”
“I‘ll burn down your entire family tomorrow!”
Louis flashed the man a grim look, trying to sound sinister and fearsome. In truth he had no courage to actually die with Harvey, but he still attempted to sound intimidating so as to scare Harvey away.

Harvey swung his back hand across Louis‘s face, looking cold and aloof the entire time.
“Stop nagging already.”
“We either die together, or you apologize right now.”
Harvey knew exactly how to deal with people like this.
He had been roaming the battlefields for such a long time. Why would he even be scared of a silly brat playing mercenary?
“Aaaaah!”
The group of beautiful women who were so snide and vain before screamed in fear, all color in their faces lost.
They were terrified of Louis letting go of the grenade. Their bright future ahead of them would be completely ruined if that were to happen.
Kaitlyn‘s face darkened in horror, and she couldn ‘t look any worse. She never thought that someone would be capable of suppressing her.

She put her head down and tried to slip away quietly, but realized that the Dragon Palace‘s branch had completely blocked off every single exit. They were clearly ready for everyone to die together.
Pure terror struck her at this very moment.
She was still young. There was still plenty of glory and riches waiting for her to enjoy. She didn‘t want to die so early!
Louis touched his swollen face, chuckling furiously.
“You think you have the final say here?! You wish!”
“Let me tell you right now. I‘m not interested in your choices at all!”
“I‘ll pick the third one: I don‘t die, but you do!”
He narrowed his eyes as he glared at Edwin.
“Not bad at all. You actually have someone like this by your side! No wonder the Mendoza family ‘s status has been steadily rising during the past few years.”
“But you better cherish this man well, or I‘m going to kill him!”
Even though it was Louis‘s first time meeting Harvey, he was already prepared to end his life there and then.
With what Louis could do, he would obviously get revenge, especially when someone disrespected him this much for the first time in the many years he spent in Hong Kong and Las Vegas.
Edwin simply looked at him coldly, not uttering a single word. Before Harvey, he knew he had no right to speak.
If Harvey was truly prepared to die, then Edwin would follow Harvey to the bitter end.
Harvey kept on nonchalantly tapping Louis‘s face and said calmly, “Stop spouting nonsense, Young Master Castro. Your third choice won‘t work here.”
“Kneel or die. Pick now!”
“The clock‘s ticking.”
“Hell‘s waiting for us, after all!”
